From closeup footage of the final round at the Heritage (2nd shot on 16) he is still using a DG tour issue shaft in his 54*. His bunker shot on 18 is not that same shaft. Pretty sure it is a spinner shaft. See also images from WGC and the Masters:

Ahh have to love Luke. Such a smooth swing ("slow" by tour standards) but still so nice. Honestly think he should be #1 in the world right now.

In the past, Luke has been using the "Tour" model of the Odyssey #7 putter. The Tour model is a larger, heavier head, and bronze in color (or, colour, if you are Luke).

I noticed that today, over at Wentworth, that he had the black series #7 in the bag. The distinguishing characteristics: three dots as the alignment aid, instead of the line which is on the Tour #7. The grip was also the black series grip, but Luke does not have the "Tour model" grip on his Tour #7, so that was not a distinguishing characteristic.

Rarely do athletes actualize their potential, especially in golf. Luke Donald I think has become the best he could be and its shows.

It is quite odd that one of Mizuno's prominent representatives isn't using their driver/woods. I watched the videos on YouTube of him trying out the MP drivers and he didn't seem impressed. =(

I did try an MP630 at Golf Town and it felt great, but I couldn't afford it.

That was the Mp-600, which has garnered a ton of support on this site as being a low spin bomber. The video always puzzled me as I thought the TM driver he gamed instead didn't even seem to be in the same ballpark.

I still love the guy though; beautiful swing! Made me buy Mizuno's as my first set (MX-100's!)

I have read that Luke has tried many different models/brands of drivers. Not the only guy on tour playing a different brand driver than his iron sponsor. Fred Couples, DLIII, even the other Mizuno guys CHIII and Jeff Overton don't use the Mizuno driver.
