I visit Dearborn quite often and like to play a new course each time I am there.

 

As a matter of fact, I have 2 spots to make 4 at Fox Hills GC (Golden Fox) on August 19th....

I live in Alpena, it would be nice if we could plan a golf outing for next spring or summer. Possible somewhere in the middle of the state. If we get enough interest we could possible get a group rate.

 

If anyone is interested please let me know and I would be willing to try and coordinate the envent.

There are some nice course up by you CPA. RedHawk is supposed to be nice in Tawas, then you can go up to Oscoda and play LakeWood Shores resort. there are 3 nice course there. It is owned by the same people that own Indianwood.

First, welcome to GolfWrx. I'm originally from Detroit, and my dad is an adjunct faculty member at Oakland University, so I play a great deal of golf out at the two courses there. We should definately get together next year for a round. Perhaps a mini-Golfwrx outing?

Hey fellow Michigan folk!!! I'm originally from Upper Michigan but I go to school at Central. I play golf every second I get and seeing I'm down state again it kind of sucks because none of my friends golf down here. Gets kind of old golfing with strangers or playing by yourself. Greetings everyone,

 

I'm in Warren at present but anywhere in Southeast Michigan is fair game when it comes to a weekend round of golf. I generally play most of my rounds at public courses in the northwest suburbs (Livonia, Novi, Canton, Milford, South Lyon, etc.) because I lived in that area when I began playing in the mid 90's and most of my regular golf partners are out that way, I also generally play 2-5 rounds a year up Rochester way in defference to one friend who lives out past the Palace. I'd love to participate in any GolfWRX outing locally so I'll keep checking this thread now that I've found it, I don't think my buddies are WRX members yet but I could scare up at least 5 or 6 decent golfers who happen to be very nice guys.

 

Is this thread the place to post if my group is a player or two short? Seems like when we get 4 guys committed to play somewhere at least one has to cancel and we'll also seem to frequently get a group of 5 or 6 who want to play and it would be great to fill any open spots with WRX'ers.
