I'm from Escanaba up here in the UP. At least thats where my mail goes I work pipeline construction and travel all over the country most of the year. I am going to be in the Ann Arbor area next week, does anybody know of a course that I can play with my girlfriend who is just learning the game? I myself am a 17 hcp and she dosen't even like to keep score so something moderately priced that is fairly forgiving. Any help is appreciated.

Hello Everyone, Just found the site and had to say Hello to all the Michiganders here. Its a new season just wish the weather would agree with us also. Live near Port Huron area but work in Macomb co. Be fun to get something planned for this year. On a golf league thru work and golf on the weekend when i can. Open to playing anywhere, I love to travel and golf.

I am in Ann Arbor and am a UM alum if anyone wants to get on the University Course, (semi-private and limited to Alums, students, faculty, etc., and guests) it is an Alistair MacKenzie (Augusta National) design, is very challenging, and is only 50 a round for guests.

Hey, fellow Michiganders! I'm fairly new to the game. Started playing last spring. I live in St. Johns. It's about 20 miles north of Lansing where I work as a state employee. I'd be all for an outing but I'd be afraid of looking like a fool. I'm a high handicapper. I'm working on it though. Taking lessons at Forest Akers @ MSU.

But quick question does anyone know of a good cheap place to buy stuff like especially shafts and have them installed quick?
