Initial numbers are showing increase distance due to lower spin. Example was Stewart Cink when tested at the WGC. Compared to his gamer (VR 9.5 w/ATTAS 6X), the ATTAS T2 6X was about 300 rpm less which equated to about 14 yards more distance. He had the same trajectory and ball speed. Pretty impressive, and Stewart was seeing that the results were better.

Original ATTAS was a little higher launching and spinning than I wanted (even paired with a J33R 460). ATTAS2 sounds like it might be the ticket.

I currently play a 10.5 taylormade supertri with a 79x Axivcore Black. The shaft performance is great in the Axivcore, but I have tried the Attas and the long range flight is much flatter compared to the higher spin rates I am having with the Black. Shaft is a great performer but would love a chance at an Attas.

I would love a 7X shaft for my driver. UST has some rocking shafts at the moment, I tried the original ATTAS and loved it. Just didn't have the cash for one.
