Stand bag that can double as cart bag?

I'm looking for a stand bag that can double as a cart bag. Any ideas? Thanks

I've yet to find a stand bag that fits a cart well...and stays there. Even if they fix the stand, the shape of the stand bag is oval vs. round for the cart bag. So the stand bag will always want to rotate on it's side in a cart.

Let me be the first of many to suggest the Ogio Grom. The Tourque Strap alone makes it the best hybrid bag on the market.

I would have been right on the X2, until recently. I have a 2010 Grom that works very well on a riding cart, my speed cart and with the legs at the range.
Some how one of the legs got a small dent/crease in it. Unfortunately OGIO dose not offer any replacement legs for the newer bags. So I have a great bag that the next time I set it down to deploy legs, the dented one could fold. I do hope I get a favourable response back from the e-mail I sent OGIO customer service.

[b]UPDATE:[/b] OGIO is going to replace the bag for me. All I have to do is ship mine back to them. So X2 on the GROM. It woks very well for what you are trying to do.

I quite like the look of all Ogio bags but there seem to be some issues with the leg operation on some of their cheaper models. Not sure how the Grom performs.

Again I also like the features that Sun Mountain put into their bags but their reputation has plummeted in the UK following the Ryder Cup waterproofs debacle.

I hadn't even considered Callaway so I will have to check out what they have on offer - probably in the post-Christmas sales

I got a free Ogio Grom. Works great on carts. Little heavy for me for carrying all the time, but if I know I'm going to be in a cart, it's what I put the clubs in...

Another vote for the Ogio Grom, it is a bit heavy for walking, but a good hybrid type bag. Plenty of pockets and the torque strap are nice features.

BTW, just landed a brand new 2010 Grom Stealth on ebay for under $70.00. I looked at the 2011 Grom but did not like the 14 way top. I like the Woode Top much better.

Still heavy from the car to the cart but the best hybrid bag.

I have the four5 from SunMountain and I love the bag but it's a terrible cart bag. it won't fit straight due to the stand that sticks out too far. great carry bag never a cart bag.

The 2011 Four5 has a round bottom that is supposed to fit into carts better than previous versions. It's marked at the bottom with a "CFB"

I would reccommend any of the Ping bags, mostly because they dont have that foot on them that extends the legs, makes it much easier to fit in the cart without having to turn it sideways or worrying about breaking the foot off. I use the 4-under and it is a great bag to carry but works well in a cart as well, the Hoofer and Latitude are bigger bags and would probably be even better in a cart.

Legs and strap come off in about 15 seconds, clubs stay separated, and the interior system keeps clothes and other junk inside the pockets from jamming up the clubs.

I have the Sun Mountain MPB (multiple purpose bag) It has 14 dividers and a putter well. The legs can be zipped up to prevent them from releasing when strapped on a cart. The weight is decent if you wish to walk.

Agreed on the Ogio Grom, the Strap works on 90% of carts and keeps the bag locked in place...but it is a tad heavy for walking.

The ClubMaxx looks like the perfect solution but is a bit expensive.

Still looking at the Ogio Grom and Sun Mountain options. I have spotted a 2009 Grom for less than £80 in the UK and this looks favourite at the minute.

I honestly feel that Ping makes one of the better stand bags that can double as a cart bag. The other company would be Ogio. However, I think that Ping has better color combinations.

I use the SM Four5 and it works fine on the cart/buggy. it stays there no matter what i do and what ever bush wackin' i go through so i think it must depend on the cart as well.

FT hybrid bag is a great choice.... it fits in the cart perfect, not twisting or turning! Evevn has rubber pads that cushion it on the plastic part of the cart where the bag goes. The one drawback i found is its pretty heavy if you carry alot... but it does look great! I have an '08-'09 version for sale in the lefty BST if anyone wants to make me an offer!
