Suggestions for golf course near Atlanta

I am going to be in Atlanta and would like to find a course to play. The closer to I-75 the better , but am willing to travel some distance. Price range around 75-100 obviously anything less would be fine. Thanks in advance.

I'm a fan of Cobblestone a little north of Atlanta but there are a lot of good courses in and around Atlanta and I'm sure you'll get plenty of advice.

To OP: North of Atlanta on 75 or south of the city?

We are very lucky in Atlanta. Public access golf is CHEAP, especially this time of year. For $75 to $100 you can play anywhere you want to. Some of the better courses are only about $50 for greens fees.

Narrow down the general area for us and you'll get some good suggestions.

I met my dad in Atlanta to see my Ravens last November and squeezed in a round. For me it came down to Echelon, Wolf Creek and The Frog; we went with The Frog and loved the course. Not terribly difficult but very well maintained and gorgeous. My dad and I agreed there are some holes on the front 9 very reminiscent of Augusta with tall pines framing tees and greens. There is the odd pair of back to back par fives early in the round (4&5 maybe) but there are some truly memorable holes (#8 par 3 and #18 reachable par 5). Wolf Creek is known as the highest quality course nearest downtown Atlanta and Echelon is a very highly renowned semi-private course where Matt Kuchar has been spotted. IIRC there are a few threads on this in the course reviews forums.
