In honour of the great man
Anyone know the clubs seve was using late 80s and early 90s in his pomp?

Pictures also

gachet will prob know.

Also loving Seves fashion, all the Slazenger Jumpers in Navy Blue and red, theyve made a bit of a comeback in fashionable stores in the Uk the last year, reckon itll go boom now.

and his bright green or red trousers.

Or his Hugo Boss stuff and Lacoste such an icon

He used lots of different Clubs, in 86-88 he used Slazenger S Ballesteros Supremo irons & sometimes as others have said an eye 2 SW & PW, or a Wilson JPII Sand Wedge. I have a set of the Supremo’s, he also used Sounder SBIVs & some point, it could have been in 1980 at the Masters because he had a Sounder bag, I also have a set of these. I think in 1979 he used Ram blades, he later used the Slazenger Seve Blades which are made by both Slazenger & Dunlop, I have sets of both, these are probably the nicest cleanest blades I’ve ever seen.

As for Putters, again as others have said, the Ping Anser he used for years, the Maxfli Tad Moore TM 2 & the Plop.

I know he used a Toney Penna 3 Wood which was made for him & sold to him by Toney Penna.

He did later use Callaway, Mizuno & MD, he usually had lead tape across the back of his clubs, so it was difficult to see exactly what they were, so he could have had Mizuno TP Originals for a while. I know he liked that clean Mizuno TP Original, Slazenger Seve blade design of irons.

Don't know if you're still around, but as this thread has been resurrected...

I recently bought a Seve Ballesteros signature model Mizuno 1-iron; they came out with a few Ballesteros signature models, but this one was a nice looking blade, so I bought it. I'm pretty damn sure it's the same as the TP Original (the one in my picture below is stamped differently, but is the same head as the TP), so I think that lends weight to the idea that he use TP Originals, or at least those heads perhaps with different stampings.
