my willpower to resist gave way today after staring at the new BB1 in the pro shop since spring.

 

nothing special....our SAM said i fit straight into a stock loft/lie 35.''

 

SAM did say i had .1deg less face rotation with the kuchar...but i couldn't get over the look of it so i went with the BB1.

Sent my baby in for restore. Got her back just in time, and won the club championship. She's a birdie machine! The finish is a new "Aloha Ox" finish that is like a charcoal mist. It goes with my custom Smoke shaft perfectly.

I had an odd spot in the original finish so I stripped and torched to get this. I had no clue what I was after, but I really like the way it turned out.

It is..it's the exact same putter head. difference is his has a line in the cavity and the fit face. the less offset makes a HUGE difference and for me it's a more natural stroke.

To some it may seem like an unnecessary upchage for "cosmetic" purposes only.

 

To me, it adds an extra custom feature, and adds to the 1 off piece of it. I love it, and get lots of comments on mine.

Finally going to send my Betti back to th shop to have a sight dot put on it. Nothing major but I'm pretty pumped about it haha. I still love that putter.

You know you have a Bettinardi addiction when you're rolling your Inovai Counterbalance like a champ then pick up a studio stock and then a week after getting the studio stock, you pick up an Inovai 3.0.

 

I can't get over how well these things roll and how well they sit behind the ball!! I keep thinking I'll go down to Studio B since I live about half an hour away from there but when I try the stock putters, they amaze me and I don't see how getting fit would work much better. I'll post pics tomorrow.

Got my sig. series 7 back from Bettinardi after they put a sight dot on my putter. so far I'm really liking it. Wish I could get rid of the flange line but no big deal. I was also happy to hear they will be releasing their Bettinardi Lamkin deep etched cord grips early next year.

Finally got around to getting the Betti SS16 cut and a new SS grip put on (I won it here a few months back).

 

Firm feeling, but it rolls well. My issue is with the 3-4 ft putts, they aren't dropping. I am pretty solid from the 6-15 ft range, tho.

 

It will get a few more rounds before deciding whether to keep it in the primary or the "local" bag.

Here's most of my collection. I also have a Bettinardi/ Ben Hogan Baby Ben. I used the Baby Ben on my first round under par back when I was in high school. I'm considering tossing a salty grip on the Studio Stock 15 but might also throw an orange Iomic on it.

 

At the moment, the Inovai 1.0 is my gamer but the 3.0 is in the hunt.

First mallet with black and white ss on it is the studio 15. Second is a BB32. Traditional face milling and face balanced. When you stand over it, it appears to be a bit rounder in the back than the 15.
