Finally talked myself into making my Betti naked. Very happy with the look. The green was just too loud. The finish and milling really stand out now.

What did you use to strip the paint? Did you take of the sight line grey paint? Did you notice any effect to the finish with what you use to strip the paint? Thanks for the info, I too have been thinking about doing this but I am worried about messing with the nice finish on the putter. Thanks for the info?

I used pure acetone I got from walmart. Yes I did take off the sight line. I really like that it doesn't stand out as much as before. Not that it was obnoxious to begin with. It didn't do anything to the finish. I had asked the same question in another thread where a member removed his paint fill also as I had the same concern.

I used the same treatment on my 2014 BB43 with no issues to the finish.

Just got this baby in the mail!!!! Custom BBZeRo 355 grams, black oxide finish with tiffany color paint fill. And of course a lizard skin grip to cap it off.

 

Thank you to Nick at Tour Stock for making my vision a reality.

That is super nice! Are you using Studio B or someone else? I have a putter at Labworx now, can't wait to get it back.

 

Also ended up buying a 2016 BB8. I asked when I purchased it if they would color match the shaft the same Midnight Black as the head and they informed me that "no custom option are available to production line putters and a custom BB8 starts at $1500" LOL geesh well that will have to wait then..

Just grabbed my first Bettinardi! Spotted this on the bay and what can I say, she spoke to me! Have been putting her indoors and I can tell you I am in love.
