So.... I just acquired this Beauty ! Im sure she is well known here.. I don't know how many previous owners there have been,,,,But im pretty sure ill be the last.... As I understand it was made for the 2012 PGA show and originally had the Accra shaft it has now. If anyone has more info about it feel free to post or PM me..Im all ears..Im curious about things like what would the original grip and headcover look like... Has a SS flatso on it now and a green monster looking betti headcover....

Dass or cs materials, holes on the bottom for weight?

I was the original owner, and I think I actually reacquired it at some point. Original paint fill from what I can tell, though the grip has changed. It was originally a white grip master stitchback which contrasted nicely with the shaft. Someone then had wrapped it with a shoelace or some such, because when I got it back, it still had the markings from that. Now it looks like someone swapped it for a superstroke. As for the cover, I don't think it was anything super special (there wasn't a "matching" cover for it, so to speak, so I think it was just whatever the tour stock release was for that show....maybe the cigar cover?)

 

I would still own this if the neck was attached a little further back on the head. With the iPing app, I think I had my best ever numbers with this one, but it didn't translate to the course for me (I think because of the neck).

Changes the sound a touch but no where near as much feel wise I would say it is a touch firmer than without the ports but no where near what a slot does to the feel.

It is DASS. Holes on the bottom change the sound a touch.

Awesome info potpie. I figured someone here was the original owner. I played 9 yesterday with it and literally hit every putt I looked at. I am very exited about it. Just seems to fit my eye.

Knew i had to get this as soon as i saw it!!

 

Liked the cover so much i had to get a putter from a great member on the bst.

 

 

finished off the USA theme with a superstroke USA Ryder cup grip.

It's Dass. They don't yet offer carbons for 1 offs, especially lefties.

 

The face is whatever their current version of fly mill face is.

 

And as far as I'm aware, all you need is the word Bettinardi somewhere on the putter. If you have that, you're good. Many times people have different stampings or just logos, so they have to put Bettinardi on the sole.

 

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but that's just what I'm lead to believe.

If someone wanted to give me that putter. I would learn to putt left handed for it. I've been using left hand low for 15 years. I'm sure that would help ease the transition haha
