Departure time: I'm ok with what everyone decides. Don't mind early. I do have to stop and pee about every 30 minutes ha ha.

Eating: There is not much around there other than the grill at the golf course, there is a plaza at Tangerine & Dove Mtn Pkwy with the Dove Mtn Grill (upscale dining) and I think a new (upscale) pizza place there also. Maybe something at the RC hotel, upscale as well I would reckon. There is absolutely nothing on west on Tangerine and at the I-10 exit, and nothing north of there except the DQ at Picacho Peak exit.

Course Difficulty: Played the Wild Burro and Saguaro nines in an AGA event two years ago and got my a** handed to me. This course will make a good test case for the "play it forward" philosophy. lol

Something about Upscale eataries and 8 smelly dudes doesnt mix lol. Im open to whatever. I hear you have to be on your game, putting wise, to play well at this course. i'll probably utter the "put me down for a 5" phrase often HA!

Actually, the course is fairly generous from the tee. Shots to the green can be pretty severe as is typical of the Jack Nicklaus style. If you are faced with a lot of long iron/hybrid/fw wood second shots, that can make for a challenging day.

From what I saw on TV, those 4 PARS are long. A hot 3,4,5 iron won't cut it from your description of the greens. haha

Wonder will it be akin to the time Mark, Tim and I played TPC Stadium from the BLOCKS (pass back tees). That course was a little wet and I had to jump out of my shoes.

My buddy Jade (who's coming with us) played last weekend and he said it wasn't that penal off the tee, but if you didn't hit your targets on the greens, then it can make for a long day of fingers crossed lag putting.
