Just noticed these on eBay: Titleist T Stamp Forged Iron set Golf Club

No serial number - are these legit?

I could be wrong but I think the T stamp clubs were off the rack 680's or 681's that were made to Tiger's specs.

they might be legit, but one thing is for sure, Tiger Woods does not use Dynamic Gold Lite s300's. So either somebody reshafted them or they are total bs. I know for a fact they did not come with those shafts. It's not like you're going to play them anyway, because there is no one on this website that can handle those specs, so go find a legit brand new set and put them on the wall...

I am 99% positive that all sets of the T stamp's came 2-PW with DG-S400

 

but then again maybe they could have been special ordered?

 

I know with the regular 681 and 681 custom grind you could get some different options

I think they had two T stamped set. A Black one (normal retail) and a Red suposed to be Tigers, only 200 of them was made.

How are the T Stamps different than the 681's? (other than the S400 shafts)

T Stamps were Tiger's grind which had a higher muscle than the 681s and a thinner sole. They weighed less than the 681s after the custom grinding which is the reason they were made with S400s to simulate the X100s he used weight wise and still be playable. They NEVER made a set with Dynamic Gold Lites. These have been messed with so beware. They are either extremely long or have lead plugs in them to make them a playable swingweight. If not they will be unplayably light.

I agree that its not likely these came with lites, but its not impossible either. I custom ordered a set for a customer back then with flighted rifle in them...it took like 9 months for them to come :cheesy: but they finnally did. We were a big Titleist account, but I'm sure I wasn't the only one who did this.

One of my friends is selling some T-Stamped here. He's a very well respected seller on TCC. The shafts are different then his, but as nearfall said, you can order clubs with your coice of shafts, just takes longer. here's his for you to jusge the heads:
