What does Avg Joe Swings Stiff and Below mean?

Everytime I'm on the site I pause and think about what the heading means. Can someone help clarify for me? Thanks.

most guys on here have swing speeds upwards of 110 mph and use extra stiff shafts. This forum is for club recommendations for the mortals who swing below 95mph and use regular flex shafts.

I would think it should be the other way around. "Most" people do NOT swing at 110+ mph. This includes the two club pros I know as well as Matt Kucher (if you've seen the Bridgestone commercial stating his swing speed).
I think the guys who play XX Stiff shafts tipped 5 inches should have the sub-forum. Lol

My assumption is that more of the real competitive serious type golfers do have higher than average swing speeds, and people that are that into golf and golf equipment probably have a tendency to visit these forums. Therefore the ratio of high swing speed players on this board is probably much higher than the overall golfing populace. On the other hand, I am sure there is no shortage of exaggeration and hyperbole.

There are plenty of serious players, with talent and game, that don't swing anywhere near that hard...

I can only presume that someone in great wisdom added this sub-forum as Avg Joe's like me need somewhere to at least have a starting point to get some unbiased comments and advice from a pool of proficient individuals rather than walking into a big-box store (again!) and saying "I have money, please sell me a game."

I've gleaned some good info from the various forums on the site, including this subforum. I also hope that I've been able to contribute some info considered by others.

I do however think (agree with OP?) that the lines between content on this subforum and the general clubmaking and equipment forums are blurred and info on either seems relevant to a lot of readers. I don't think that all senior members are reading the Ave Joe forum just to be helpful?

Whatever.... I'm darned glad Golfwrx is around ....if I had been trolling it earlier it might have saved me a ton of bucks for some bad club purchase choices (or at least got me to a fitter earlier). It certainly has steered me to correct some of those mistakes.
