With everyone posting fridge pics....this is the garage fridge. Kitchen fridge pics later, same stuff really with some Single Shot, King Jul, Doppel, Haze. Stouts are in the Eurocave. Hopefully I'll find some crazy stuff at EBF this weekend. I've got some HF and TH tradebait for a Fundamental Observation I'm hoping to find.

The Founders stuff is 1 KBS 2 Backwoods 3 FBS. the Bells Expedition is about 18 months aged now and just starting to get really good.

Nice labeling on the Founders... I started using metallic Sharpies to date stuff, so much easier knowing when you bought stuff!

When we lived in a townhouse with no room for a second fridge we'd leave a good cooler in the garage and ice it. Any decent cooler can keep ice 7+ days in a garage. A high quality cooler is a lifelong investment anyway.

Ask for individual bags for each bomber. And ask for a bomber or wine case. You can write on the bag and put the bottles in individual slits in the case box. Place it on the floor of your coat closet. Should still be room for other stuff, and stack on top if need be. As long as you don't crank the heat, the closet should stay below 72/75 and guaranteed there won't be any light intrusion.

I've stopped doing that now when there's bottled dates on bottles but if there's none I still tape/date them with purchase date so I can track aging.

Had this today. Laughing Skull Amber Ale out of Red Brick Brewery in Atlanta. Great taste, and slightly bitter. Would definitely recommend.Not sure why my picture came out sideways.

Had the Stone Enjoy by 2/14 Black IPA and was underwhelmed. Seemed to lack body and the roasted malt flavor. Wasn't hoppy enough either. For a black IPA, Wookey Jack and Dark Penance are so much better. Cracking into the Unfiltered IPA tonight, hope that's better. Also have a bottle of Racer 15 chilled.

 

 

In other news, the NxS is still a fantastic beer, wondering if I should grab a few more while they are still around.
