Any good Putter Forums?

Any good putter forums, or putter websites? I have several rare putters that I am looking to sell and ebay and even the WRX community for that matter won't come close to fetching what they are worth. Looking for the collectors and enthusiasts.

Whole market is very soft right now. I would hold onto them and let the market change if you want to get anywhere near their real value. puttertalk BTW is a great one

Try Puttertalk....lots of good guys over there (some are members here too). I know I can move Bettinardis over there a little easier than I can here. Camerons might be tough to move over there though.

Some guys like to bash them here because they were banned for breaking rules there....

Thanks, yes, mainly rare Betti's, some Bobby Grace, and a few Scotty CT's, few other Tour putters

As for the comment about WRX no being for enthusiasts of rare putters, didn;t mean it that way, just that when i list a rare Betti, and have a reasonable price of say $900-$1000, and i get PM after PM asking if I would sell it for $150, ya I need to look elsewhere.

As for the screen name. had more to do with my prior body shape. I am 5'9", and was totoing around at 320 lbs. I looked as far form being a golfer as possible. I could ham and egg it enough to get some action, and would then proceed to clean up....hence "YOU JUST GOT HUSTLED" Now I am about 100 lbs lighter, look more like a golfer, don't play as well with having to learn a new swing, but will undoubtably be playing the game longer with extended health.

I would think you'd list them as many places as possible. Saying no to a bunch of lowballing tire tickers is as easy as typing "No thanks" and hitting the reply button. What really matters is whether you ever make a sale at your "reasonable" price. Seems reaching out to all available pools of (potential) buyers is best.

Surely there's a limited number of folks shopping in the $1,000 "rare" putter market at any given time. Probably hard to reach them all in a single forum.

Puttertalk is probably your best bet for Betti's and maybe Bobby Grace. Scotty CT's...go to Cameroncollector.com. They are the enthusiasts for anything Cameron, but you won't be able to post anything on their FS forum until you have a specific # of posts.

As others have said, tour putter market is extremely soft. DASS putters used to fetch $650-$800 and they've been going for $400-$600 in recent months. I haven't seen a rare Betti go for $900-$1000 in a long time...even the copper ones and the limited 3/4 Betti's haven't fetched what they used to. GolfWRX isn't a bad place for putter enthusiasts, but we also have a fair share of low-ball buyers. You have to have a putter that appeals to a specific buyer...example...I purchased a DASS knurl neck BB8 at the asking price because it was rare and I've been wanting one.

Bobby Grace is much tougher to sell at a good price. Just not enough demand to justify a high price.

I would echo exactly what Skaffa said above. The market is really soft right now. You have to have somthing very rare, or in the alternative somthing that a buy simply has to have.



I am always suprised that the tour distributors are able to sell stuff at their high prices.
