Taylor Made Penta TP3 and TP5 ball comparison

Has anyone played both of these Taylor Made balls? I've been playing the Penta TP3 for a few weeks and like it so far. How does it compare to the Penta TP5 ball? Feel, spin, distance, durability? Any other comments are appreciated. Thanks.

Feel: TP5 is softer

Spin: TP5 spins less on mid and short approach shots, more around the greens and less off the tee

Distance: I find them similar, some say TP3 is longer

Durability: I find them very close with a slight edge to TP3

Both are great balls. TP5 fits my game better, but I do like TP3 when I play very firm greens.

Is there a good comparison of the new TP5 vs last year's Penta TP? I've been casually looking for one but haven't seen a good review yet. I have about 10 dozen of the 2011 Penta's left so I haven't been very motivated to buy any TP5's (yet).

I believe the only major difference between the two is that last year's Penta has more spin off of the driver.

The TP5 cured my only two complaints of the original... It's much lower spin and much longer off the tee! Everything else including short game is very similar to the original.

Sounds like I might have to give it a try. I found the original Penta to be pretty long and spin a lot less off the driver than what I was used to (Pro V1 and B330-S). Should be interesting to give the TP5 a try.
