That looks good. At first I was confused as the 2nd pic didn't load and all I saw was the square with the hosel. LOL Come to think of it.....That would be a pretty sweet looking putter on it's own. LOL Congrats and I am sure you are going to love it. Thanks for Sharing

Yes, it is so cool to get "In Process" pictures. Some of them freak you out and then the next thrills you to death.

It is going to be awesome, a Byron work usually is.

Can't wait to see the finished putter!

Thanks for sharing those pics!

That first one freaked me out and its not my putter haha. I saw that and I was like :) Thats no JAT. Then I saw the second picture and I was oh ok :crazy2: I really need to get my hands on a Byron.

Never putted with one of his putters, how do they feel compared to Mills and Camerons?

different feel entirely then Mills.

More comparable to a Cameron but better IMO.

I hope ours feel the best of all of them???

lol

Dumb question Jay... no doubt.

I tihnk your question is difficult to answer, because to compare feel accurately you would really want to have a similar setup of shaft and grip and comparable heads from each maker. You could compare the Byron handmade A-OK or M01 style to a T.P. or David Mills #1 to an early Cameron pre-Scottsman 941 (pre-coronado) handmade. Perhaps you could ask Bill Vogney to do this comparison and report back his answer :crazy2:

Or you could compare Cameron's 009 to the Dale Head 11 to the Professional Series Tradition (if you could convince David Mills to put a plumbers neck on one and move it back toward the heel a bit.]

The short answer is that Scotty and Byron and David all make great putters. Most of what is affordable from Cameron is off the rack. A custom handmade by Scott C., if you can even get one, would cost you mid-4 figures minumum, but a handmade by Bryon or David is just as high quality (some would say better) and won't cost you a kidney on the black market. Go figure.

no doubt... the Byron's rule!

Besides Byron's feel is only relative to what his various models dictate, or what the buyer wants. Soft, hard, clicky, punchy, smooth, quite, it's what ever you want with a Byron...

I've only ever putted with retail TP mills and he definately has that soft-quite-gun-blue feel down fantastically.

There are two putter makers I would play... Mills and Byron. However my heart only belongs to one and that's the Mills brand. If I wanted to game a putter along the lines of a tour Cameron, I'd bag a Byron at 1/6 of the price and at the very least equal quality.

Slighters feel good as well, but I haven't used one that setup well for me yet.

I'm diggin it...I'd love to have one almost like that, but with a full "T" sightline and a goosneck hosel moved halfway between the heel and center.....What's the headweight? and does it have a significant toe hang?
