Its that time of year..What are you all asking for???

Well now that Hannukah is a week away and Christmas is soon approaching as well as Kwanza..just spreadin the love....i want to know what all of you juniors are getting or have asked for, for the holidays. Are you getting some small things or a new set of clubs??? LETS HEAR IT!!!!

I asked my parents to buy me a Bridgestone j33r 460 9.5* head and some golf balls, srixon Z-urc, B-stones b-330/b-330s prov1s prov1x.some new gloves and some Zero Friction tees. I asked my grandparents for a pair of DRY Joy Pros size 13 or 13 and a half. I asked my aunt for some golf clothes and accesories but she said she would give me cash instead, So I am going to use that to buy a SeeMore putter when they come out.My Christmas present to myself is a Mizuno Clk 17* with a stiff sencicore shaft(probably change to a x-stiff) so some things are small and some are large.

My parents just finished putting together a golf trip for me and 3 buddies to go to Arizona for 9 days on our reading week for school so that was part of my present. Also got me some lessons from our swing fundamentals teacher at school. My father also is going to let me get fitted for a new driver right before my Arizona trip so I will be able to have a new 1-Wood for 2007. Then just some golf apparel, since we live close to the US and clothes have a better selection there they are going to take me on a trip to the Burberry store and let me pick out a new wardrobe for next year.

First let me preface this post by saying that I am a grown-a** man. My parents owe me nothing, and the thing that I am most excited about is seeing my mom, my dad, my brother, and my amazing nephew - all healthy and happy. If I get a gift, any gift at all . . . well, that's just gravy.

 

But since the thread topic is holiday gifts . . . the other day I got an email from my mom that said how impressed she was with Golfsmith online ordering - she ordered on Wednesday and had the package by Thursday evening. No clue what it is - could be a simple windshirt for all I know. Just stoked that she recognized my new found addiction and sees fit to enable it.

 

Three cheers for my mom - a true Texas lady, and one helluva broad.

Of course I'm gunna get fit, but the ones high up on my list are the...Titleist 907 D1/D2, FT 5/FTI, and Sumo/ Sumo 2. I don't mind the square/ triangular shape as long as the club works. Pretty much just those. Have hit everything else on the market and am not too into anything. 905R is the only driver I could see myself playing right now, but why buy one in the off season when a newer model will be avalibe in a few months? Not really looking for more distance, cause my numders with my 983K are pretty good, just need more forgiveness. My solid tee shots are fine, but my misses compared to a larger headed club are so much different it's unbelieveable.

My parents are soo cool! they let me get a j33r 460 8.5 with a Ust v2(real, not stock) 75x and it should be here tommorow. Now all I have to do is get a new iron set(bridgestone j33 combos preferably) and my bag is set!(well atleast for a day or 2 ;) )
