Top 20 Courses you have played

It'd be too hard to make a list. Several that would make my list aren't on any "best" lists, but I loved them. At the same time, I've played some GD Top 100 courses that left me unimpressed. Used to love Fazio courses, but the more I play the more I realize they are all the same.

Best course I've ever played is Prairie Dunes in Hutchinson, KS. If it was closer to a major metro area, I think it would rival some of those top 10 courses (a couple of which I've played) and only doesn't because more people don't see it. Southern Hills and Colonial rank high on my list as well, but I'm a big fan of Maxwell.

Haha yeah. I started off with some cheap Top Flite XL clubs. I just replaced those with decent GI clubs. Bought a Cobra Amp driver and some TM burner 2.0 irons and TM Ghost putter (TM stuff from a guy on this site!). I'm done now that I have decent clubs for learning. Calling for first lessons tomorrow! Shot a 46 yesterday, which was a huge improvement from my prior best 51 at the par 36 course! Loving this game.

These are the memory makers. I've played a lot of the top 100 in the US, but when immediately recalling top golf experiences, these pop up in memory every time. I've played higher ranked courses, but these 4 provided the best golf experiences (yes, better than Pebble - thought the views at Pebble are only rivaled by Straits with Straits taking tops due to no houses, contrast of links to sky and ocean and the sheep on the course!).
