ACC is a GREAT golf course! I've heard from a few people that at times, Augusta National will call Augusta CC and see if anyone could fill one of its foursomes. I'm sure there are members that are part of both clubs. What kind of stuff like that do you hear?

JNEWSTED, we do have a few guys that are members at the national,but i don't really know them. I'm 35 most of them are a good bit older than me, plus it's frowned upon to talk to them about it. As for your pic , u can see a good bit more than that this time of year. Thanks for the compliment on our little club

Played Houston CC in a USGA qualifier when I was about 14 (10 yrs ago) and would like to get back out there just to actually take in the course - from what I remembered back then it was a nice track but I was so frustrated with my swing that day and carrying my bag for 36 holes(didn't want to have a caddy) that I only remember 1 hole from there.

I used to live in Dublin, 10 mins from Muirfield, so that would def be on the list. The other course would be Brickyard Crossing, not because of exclusivity, its just a matter of getting there. Its always closed around the time of the big races, which is the only reason I would ever be out there.

I live in Southern New Jersey so obviously Pine Vally. I've driven back there but never got past the entrance. Other than that I would have to say Merion Golf Club where the US Open will be held in 2013. I've played all the other good courses around here that I have interest in.

The Valley Club of Montecito... Alister Mckenzie Course. I like about 15 minutes away. I have only played it twice. AWESOME course. I get to play it once every summer.

yep. SB. I go to Dos Pueblos High School. valley club is hard to get on. I play in Santa Barbara Jr Golf and they have an annual tourney there every year.

Have to add Royal Oaks and Shadowhawk to the list for the Houston area. Had the opportunity to play Houstonian last year and wished I could have ventured over to Shadowhawk. Did get the opportunity to walk the course and watch the qualifier for the US Womens Open last year. The mens US Mid-Am is going to be held there this year. Got to play Champions last year as well...tough track with even tougher competition.

Nearest dreamy course to us here in Mozambique is Leopard Creek in South Africa- Members, invitation or a guest of a few very top $$$ lodges in the area.

So in the absence of knowing any members, its $300 green fee and about the same again in one of the aforementioned ritzy lodges! $600 for a round in Africa is just a bit steep!!!

Living in Pinehurst now I have played all the ones I want here in town, but I was born and raised in NE Ohio. I was fortunate to play Murfield Village while in high school (it played host to an invitational tournament each year for us). Having said that, being 34 now, I would love another crack at that golf course, and Scioto would also be on the list. Here in NC, I would love to play some of the newer courses in The Cliffs Communities. Cliffs Walnut Cove, Cliffs Keowee Falls. Even Tiger at one point had plans to build his first course within The Cliffs Communities, but I think that is on the back burner now.

I have been out of NE Ohio for a 13+ years, and when I visit, I can not believe the number of high quality public (daily fee) courses that have opened up. Impressive!
