Okay, what local course would you love to play, but don't have access to...

In Columbus, I've never played Muirfield Village. I've played Double Eagle 4-5 times, and the Golf Club and Scioto once each. I'd love to go back. In Cleveland, I've never played Canterbury or San Ridge. But my favorite course in Ohio is Brookside CC (in Canton). If I could play one course regularly, that would be the one.
I would love to play any of the 3 Broadmoor courses here in C-Springs, I have played the full East (where they had the U.S. Senior Open a couple years ago), and have played 9 on the Mountain (?) course, but would love to play all 3, especially the East again. Hopefully I get a chance to...
It would be neat to play the original Ross 18 which has been split between the East and West courses and intermingled with the RTJ 18.
Nothing too fancy, but Glenmaura National in Moosic PA. $30,000 initiation and $5500 semi-anually. Still way more than I could ever afford.
They're still charging $30,000 for Glenmaura? You'd think that with the economy, clubs in general hurting, the overall poor economics (few good jobs) of that area, etc. they would be cutting deals.

I wish I had the cheese to buy a membership at Desert Blume in Medicine Hat. That's a sweet course and ritzy enough that there isn't anyone in the clubhouse in jeans (cool) $13K to join plus bout $25hun a year. Out of my price range, especially as it's only a grand here. I honestly couldn't say the Blume is more than twice as good.

I really don't know enough bout the courses up in Calgary to know which ones I'd like to play, when I go up there I just play where I can get on.

Would like to play the course at Banff Springs. Allegedly, (according to Golf Digest at least) the 4th best course in North America, not Canada. Over $200 green fees.

I go out to the coast a few times a year to visit my grandparents, and I wish I could get on the Victoria Golf Club. I played there lots as a teen, as a junior guest of a friend who was junior member. Pebble Beach of the North is what people call it, and it's the only place I've played links golf next to the ocean. Incredible natural beauty.
For me ... Due Process (in Colt's Neck, NJ). Johnny Miller designed it. It is drop dead gorgeous. And (from what I hear) wicked difficult (slope rating is 142). Its also just about the most exclusive club in the country (not exclusive as in Donald Trump "look at me" exclusive, but rather, in terms of millionaires and billionaires that keep their names out of the papers, and purposely try to live beneath the public radar).

$500K membership fee (but for those invited to join, that's a rounding error on their taxes). No one knows who's on the membership list ... but it only has 65 members, and a very restrictive guest policy. (Mostly it is Wall Street titans). Owned by the guy that is the CEO of Arizona Iced Tea, and a Goldman Sachs investment banker.
I play it all the time, the password is "fidelio" :man_in_love:

In Danbury, Connecticut, there is a very good public course called Richter Park. While good, it is expensive and crowded. In the afternoon, the pace of play is brutal. On one of the Par 5, there is a lake that separates it from Morefar Back of the Woods. I have probably played Richter 40-60 times over the past 8 years. To date, I have never seen a SINGLE PERSON playing Morefar. Not One.

For those people who don't know about Morefar: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morefar_Back_O%E2%80%99Beyond

On the bright side, I have access to The Course at Yale and Bethpage(if I am willing to drive).

Wow, even as a caddie you can't play it? Even Augusta lets them play 1 day a year.

No brainer for me, Augusta... it would be a dream come true to play there!

Not that it is loca as I live in Australia LOL, I'm fortunate to have access to pretty much every local course in the state (Western Australia).

I think there might really only be 1 or 2 courses in the country that I wouldn't have a hope of getting on and one of them is Capital Golf Club, the exclusive golf course for "whales" that gamble at the Crown Casino in Melbourne.
