Late to the party...


Covert Tour with either a Fubuki alpha 70x (44.5") or a Speeder VC 6.0x (45"). Play both at 10.5* neutral. I hope to pick up a performance head sometime soon and see how that works, although I don't necessarily think the Tour is unforgiving. Also have a Covert Tour 5 wood with a Fubuki alpha 70x (42.75") that I play at 17*.

I just ordered a Performance 3 wood as well but with the stock KK black 60g in x-stiff (it was an open box sale). How was the ball flight of the Covert Performance in the fairways? I have heard that they are higher spinning but I would like to see how the launch characteristics are. I'm thinking it may be high and I may need to get something more low launch/low spin to balance it out. I'm hoping it wins though, but it has a tough opponent in trying to knock the Ping G25 out of the bag.

[size=4]I've got a Performance head with a Motore 6.2 Tour Spec in it and I could not be happier....it is an amazing combo and looks killer. Being the equipment ho I am, I just ordered the 3 wood with the Motore 7.2 TS shaft in it to see if it can knock out my Cally 3Deep. That's a tall order given the Cally is so hot, but look forward to giving it a run.[/size]

I have the stock KK in mine that comes in the Tour head. I hit it very well but I'm about to order an adapter for the AD DI 7s I have laying around. Something tells me that this combo is going to be killer.

I'm really not sure how much better the AD DI will be though. I have the KK now with the club set at 8.5* and open and the ball flight is fantastic. Nevertheless, it's a cheap experiment since I just have to order the adapter.

My set up AD DI 7X with 3/4" tip trimmed 9.5 neutral and it's a laser. It's very stable, mid flight, smooth beast!
