Kansas City Area Golfers

Somehow I just came across this forum section (even though I've posted a few times from the New Content filter) and thought I'd post something since there doesn't seem to be a lot of KC golfers in here lately. I live up north of the river and I'm always looking for people to join up with. I have some buddies that I play with, but they tend to be flaky at times and give up the game for months at a time. I've had The Club Member card (https://www.theclubmember.com/) for just over a year so I usually play one of those courses on Saturday mornings. I also have every other Monday off so I try to get out then for a round or two. Typically, if the weather is above 30 and snow isn't on the ground, I'm on the golf course any chance I get.

I'm not up in the area right now, but come summer time, I may be in the area. May have to get some wrx'ers together for an outing if there is enough interest.

Do you play in st. Joe any? Ever come play mozingo? That's my home course.

Yup, I'm a member at St Joseph Country Club. Usually hit Mozingo about once or twice a month on the weekends.

Love Mozingo. Always shoot well out there. Played in the Bernis tournament there a few weeks back

I currently just accepted a job in Kansas City and re-locating from Chicago. I am an avid golfer and looking to find a group of guys to play with. I am currently trying to nail down a house in either Blue Springs, Liberty, or Lee's Summit. I will be moving there at the end of September. I'm wondering how much golf you can get in during the cold months? In the Chicagoland area you learn to deal with terrible winter, usually around March we can start getting out, waiting for the mid to upper 30's!! Just looking for a good group to join up with....

I'm playing it on Friday, I will report back.

I play Golf Club of Kansas nightly, it is in pretty good shape considering the cold/wet spring so far. It just sucks that we can't get off the paths yet.

Weird...TG has been off the paths for over a week now. Played the Outlaw at Paradise Pointe last Friday and they were off the path as well.

Man, we don't even have the member range open yet. It is driving me nuts. Thankfully, they opened the upper public grass range.

I doubt we are off paths until close to May.

If you wanted to travel up North a little, we are greening up here, and our course has some teeth, kind of hidden away. However, everyone else is down in KC, so I'm sure that would be easiest. Our Grass range is open as well....just throwing that out there. I'd just like to get out and meet some more WRXers!
