Having a skins game sunday aug 14th at tiffany greens early t times.anyone is welcome we have 3 times pm me if you eant to play

Rumor is that Tiffany is in horrible shape since losing the head greenskeeper to Excelsior Springs. Also heard they are declaring bankruptcy. Heard anything on these?

You heard wrong. I'm a member at TG and it's in great shape. Different philosophy in the way the course plays. New super wants it to be fast and firm so it's not super green everywhere with this hot summer but fairways in greens are in great shape and rough can be brown in some spots.

Sounds like my kind of guy! I cringe when I hear members at my club judging the course by how green it is and other purely aesthetic things. I will take playability all-day every-day.

Exactly. I've played TG many times for over 4 years (member going on 2 seasons) and it used to be really green but also soft fairways and soft greens nearly all the time. The greens now are about perfect in my opinion. Still receptive but you're not going to find your ball in it's mark when it hasn't rained in days. Also, they've been working on the bunkers this year as that is the glaring weakness of the course in the past. They're working on adding soft sand to a bunch of the bunkers and also making some of them smaller.
