Looks nice (on Google Maps) and only about 90 mins away for me.

It's very nice, not overly played. Big wide fairways and smaller greens. Very well maintained (but I'm pretty biased) I'll stop with the commercial. Also, very reasonable rates.

What do you guys think about Sycamore Ridge? It is a little further from city-center, but I think it is pretty darn nice track and would have a nice indoor/outdoor area for us to meet and congregate.

Lol...the blacks might be a bit of a stretch for me as well. I usually play the blues at TG, which are about 6,600 yds.

Edit: So the 11th is out Ugh. This is what makes getting these events going is so difficult.

Are we thinking a morning or afternoon time? Most Saturdays are out for me since my wife usually works until 12:30 and I'm on baby duty. Could possibly do something on a Saturday afternoon but it also takes me about 45 mins to get down to Sycamore.

I'm in KC. No Sycamore Ridge please. I've played it 4/5 weeks thus far in my work league, and I'm sick of it. Too many gimmicky holes.

I'm down to play whenever. I bought a pass to Adams Pointe this year so that is where I play mostly but I will go anywhere. STAY AWAY from Stone Canyon!! I had three buddies come down from Chicago about a month ago and we played it and I COULDN'T BELIEVE how bad it was. I mean really bad shape. So far I've played Winterstone, Drumm Farm, Stone Canyon, Adams Pointe and Creekmoor. Actually just played Creekmoor yesterday in an outing, was in good shape. We shot -14 and won $125 in cash so that's always good!!! Any of you guys in this thread message me and we can hook up. The group I play with at Adams Pointe are some really laid back good golfers if anyone ever wanted to join us??

in the Overland Park area... starting playing last year. Broke 100 for first time this year and 101 last week. I try and play weekly, typically Friday mornings before the work rush, office out of my home. Always looking for tournaments as well if anyone has any worth looking into...

p.s. last year 601 sports had a Irish Whiskey Foursome that was fantastic, look for it if they have it this year. Worth going to for a fun time golfing and drinking.
