I hope he sticks with his Cameron for a while, not because it's better, because he's clearly more comfortable with it. I'm not a huge fan of the guy, but I'd still like to see him get back to his potential.

Looks like those pics from oak hill he's gone away from the Kuro Kage and back to the Mitsubishi!

I believe he used the diamana proto at oak hill, which was before he went to merion and switched to the kuro kage. Anyone have any info on why he switched? More carry for the softer fairways??

i'm glad he broke the club. his season has been a disappointment and i don't want to see professionals pretending like they're ok with losing.

he did it in a calm, "professional" way, too, didn't make a scene, and some people didn't even realize it.

So he put the method back in play today and didn't putt well at all. He just doesn't have confidence putting with either. I think he should ditch that headshape all together and try something else for awhile.

Yeah, I think because he missed the cut in his last event with the Scotty and he probably thought "Well... It's obviously not the putter, so I should just go to the putter I (contractually) have to go to soon anyway". In my opinion, it's the archer not the arrow. He has some serious issues between the ears right now and I'm not sure what can cure it. I think a change in head shape couldn't hurt. I mean, why not? He can't putt much worse than he is right now.

I also would like to add that I think it is HILARIOUS (and all together fitting) that, with all the chatter between Rory and Nick Faldo these past few weeks, that they both shot the same score on their opening rounds today (8+ 79). If Faldo would've outplayed him today... Oh god, we would've never heard the end of it.

Not sure why many people don't talk about this, but does anyone realize that Rory is not a very good putter? He won the PGA and the US Open because he was so on with his irons from the fairways that he was destined to knock in some of the hundred or so 1-10 foot putts he had those two weeks. Thanks to his snap hook friendly driver recently, it's difficult to hit irons next to the hole when there are enormous trees directly in front of you.

When I watch Tiger put, I'm surprised when he misses. When I watch Rory putt, I wonder how badly he's going to push this one before he even starts the stroke.
