Thank you!
Just an fyi, not the same wedges as what you posted from the PGA Show or the ones shown in his golf bag. New shape/design/finish and a one of one wedge that I was allowed to shoot while the Cobra Tour Rep worked with Rickie at Zurich Classic.

So while RF has tested other Cobra wedges in the past, this was news since this was the first time this particular wedge had been tested and photos posted of it.

Um, this is not news...he has had these in the bag since the start of the year. Look for them to be available to retail in mid-summer.
Really? What bag? I shoot his golf bag at every tournament he plays in and have yet to see this wedge in his bag. Rickie (and Ian)have hit various versions of a Cobra wedge during practice on the range and/or course.

Would love to see your photos of these in Rickie's bag!

That was what I was referencing when I asked to see this wedge in his bag. I never said he hasn't had a version of the Cobra wedges in his bag. Just not this wedge.

Yeah ... I didn't pay attention to the no photos on the course

Here's a Tour Rusty in Jonas' bag - 3rd Round - Greenside Hole #3 or 4 at Zurich ;)

He said "It's pretty damn good" ... This coming from someone who had NO desire to try them last year

The new ones are apparently ... MUCH better

Thanks for the pics! Sweet bag setup!!!

With regards to pushing the limit and tge grooves are huge comment:
How is this different than what other companies are doing?
Arent all companies pushing the limit of the groove rule?
Its the groove configuration (small and lots or big and fewer) and face roughness/face milling that they are manipulating to find the best combination.

My question is do they spin more than their current lineup?

Just not sure why they insist on the 59* instead of the 60*...

The Great Big Trusty Rusty was absolutely horrible looking...

And I know...I know.... Bend em.... But seriously....someone explain it to me... Why the 59*....

As weird as it sounds... I want my 60*.... To say 60* on it...

Rant done.

I'll still buy em.

i assume coz ricky plays 59 L grind Vokeys and if Cobra Puma wanna switch him they gotta cop to the Ricky Way fwiw (i kinda agree tho i play 60.8.. but also AP2 PW 47 Vokey 52.8 and 56.11 so been tempted to go 54 and 59 then add another hybrid/driving iron:)

agree, ditch the tour trusty logo and they would be aesthetically appealing
I agree also - could be a much cleaner-looking wedge. I think they should get rid of that obnoxious "tour trusty" logo and the decal below, the needless loft and bounce numbers, the distracting name "Cobra" and that annoying little Cobra logo on the back. Then it'd be much nicer. And from address, the grooves and milling seem too busy to me also. Anything we can do about removing that???

But besides all those busy logos and identifying info and clubface ruining the club's look, I have to say those wedges are mighty pretty. The shape and size seem compact and just right - the finish is beautiful. And the sole configuration looks way better than the Trusty Rusty to me - everything about this does. Too bad I'm so happy with my Scratch 8620s. My next wedge for consideration would be the new Callaways, since they're forged and usually have very high bounces - perfect for my steeper swing. But I'd love to see the full info on these Cobras to see if they'd fit me. Maybe I'll have to try them for myself they look so wonderful!

Same here, I don't know why people complain about stampings when they're not even that distracting. Personally, I focus more on the shape, size, sole configuration, and finish (like every golfer should). When you hear people talk about wanting "cleaner" clubs, the way they describe it almost sounds like they want blank clubheads straight out of the factory, honestly. And I bet some of those people complaining play white drivers with crazy decals too....

If the back of the wedge is distracting you at address...youre doing it wrong...
+1. I'm fortunate to have clean-looking wedges in the Scratch 8620s and previously the Callaway X-Forged, but I got those for performance not for the back of the club. These clubs could have all orange paintfills and I'd play it if the bounce and grind works and because it looks 100% solid from address.

Unless you don't know how to properly hold a club, you won't see the paintfill when you set up to the ball last time I checked ;)

If anyone is interested in the RF one off's, various Golf Town's have them.

I mucked about with one last weekend. I couldn't tell the difference between my SM4 Vokey and it expect for the stampings/markings on the back. Looks exactly the same, plays the same. Or at least, that one did. I guess we'll see when the rest of the line hits in November.

Look alright. I mean, wouldn't take the Vokey out of my bag but they don't look bad. Should be interesting to see the feedback.
