I just heard that the two TP balls will be

TP-4 piece urathane more spin

TPx will be 5 piece and a little less spin urathane cover

My guy wouldn't confirm the speedblades tours though.

Also the tour players had a lot of input on the balls. They wanted more spin on the mid iron shots so the 4 piece one will do that for them.

And the new irons look exactly as being described

The wedges also are going to be really good. Moving away from the ATV and back to the forged. I'm excited although the ATV was great out of the sand for me. Not on tighter lies or fairways so much.

thats how taylormade has been doing it for years. they give us order sheets with driver a and driver b. b usually being the price point driver

From what I'm hearing I'm excited about the line and direction they are heading. The innovation is there but not so gimmicky and cheesy presentation.

I remember TMaG releasing a statement early this year about how they are making non-conforming drivers. Allow older/slower players to still enjoy the game. There was a big thread on it.

I just read something on this at another golf related article based place yesterday besides the thread that was on here a month or so back. if they did release non conforming equipment i dont think they should under the taylormade brand. it would take away all credibility they have. IMO would hurt their business. they woud probably use another name if they did. Hope its not Adams. From what I have seen with the Adams re-branding and the slogan of owning fairway to green, or something like that i dont think they would there either. Maybe a whole new brand?

They do have the Adidas name, but I couldn't imagine them risking the parent company name.

I would think a name like "Maxfli" that they own(ed) would be a better choice. Or simply make them DSG exclusives with a house brand name

To be honest, how non-conforming would the clubs have to be that would give enough gain o do any good. Joe SixPack probably will not have any more fun hitting his driver an extra 5 yards deeper into the woods. But I commend them for taking the risk to go there. Marketing drives sales. Sales fund research. Research creates new toys for all of us to talk about, try, and maybe even buy!

well we know they are finally giving us the black tour shaft option. that would be the next step for them. That would be so cool if they did. I love their forged milled putters.
