yep- saw the 2 new BB drivers and did get to hit both also.. pretty cool and will be a definite battle with the SLDR..
BB1 460cc head- one for all levels of play. heel toe sliding weight port to aid in draw-fade action and launch.. and two changeable weighs underneath also. like the razr line.. stock shaft is a new fubuki Z shaft.. white with blue sleeve under grip area.. matches the blue head- which has red and white in it also. lively shaft - again made for all to swing.. higher spinning head but in no means did we hit balloon balls at all.
BB2 440cc head- deeper face- tour version so to speak- has a single center weight port with one side heavier- you unscrew it and flip tohave the heavy side down- to kill spin and lower launch- flip it towards the top - it helps with launch.. internal build in weight is close to the center to face -- so alone it launches with less spin and lower than BB1. it is a definite change when you change the weight - flip it -- eye seeing and you can feel where the weight is during the swing.
BB2 has a stock fubuki ZT shaft it- lower torque and higher kick point- so don't bring a lazy arm swing to the tee box!
*both have a solid sound - top down look is all callaway style.. *both have the tour cog in play so +/- loft and face angle is at your finger tips also..
all in all- 2 good offerings coming out in Jan and worth a look and demo to see which model is needed..

No. This is not correct. Most of it is, but there is NOT 2 weights on the bottom of the Big Bertha. Only on the Alpha. And they come out in Feb, not Jan.
