rbg has 20% off on this one. I'm surprised that bushnell allowed this.

last sat, my v3 was dropped from cart rolling uphill. When I went to proshop after round to report, guy was like, "good luck" like getting someone to return rangefinder is that rare. I am as much mad at myself for losing it as I'm pissed that someone returning a rangefinder is that rare. My value is more than a freaking $400 and I would like to believe there are many people that think that way. But guess not.

Anyways, I just placed an order for a tour x. Free nextday shipping is +
  • Anyone else having a problem with their Tour X indicating it is locked on the pin, but the only thing on the green you were range finding was the group ahead standing on the green? Mine does this probably 25% of the time.

Mine does this also. I can lock in and jolt onto a guys shirt no problem. Mine seems to want to find the flag, does not seem to find the pin crystals. Also it only seems to jolt 1 in 4 times. Was trying my friend gx4i2 last night and it locks the crystals very quickly and consistently. I like my tour x but am still torn over whether I should have got the leupold.

I purchased the Leupold GX-4i2 at the end of summer last year. I will have to put that against the TourX when I find one. If I like it more I will sell the Leupold. Gonna be hard to beat though.

    Hey,

I think I have something you may be interested in. Hit me up [email protected]

my wife just surprised me with the tour x. I got it yesterday and took it out today and I was impressed with how fast it locks in to a target. I have read all the little issues with it and have yet to notice any of those. I had a Z6 that was stolen and the wife replaced it for me with the Tour X. Love a woman that supports my golf addiction. image/taunt.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':taunt:' />

So what is the likely hood that The Tour X will be designed in the near future as fully waterproof, not just rain proof?

Also does anyone know why lepulod does not use something similar to the jolt tecnology that Bushnell uses?

I have a Leupold GX 4 that is 4 years old. Unless the flag has prisums it's not always easy to get a reading on the flag. So many times I feel like I have to have the nerves os a snipper to get a reading on a flag that has a mound behind it etc. I recently tried a buddies busnell with Jolt and I loved it. It was so much easier to lock on to the pin with out a prisum, then the Leupold GX 4. If the GX 4 had jolt it would be perfect! I am thinking about selling the GX 4 to get a Bushnell with Jolt.

I find the jolt only works about half the time, usually inside 150. The tour x works great but the jolt does nothing for me.

I have a Z6 and leave the jolt feature turned off to save battery life.

Has anyone compared to Tour X to the Z6 or X7 rangefinders. I'm debating which model to get.
I decided to go with the Z6. I mostly walk and wanted the compactness of the Z6. The waterproof does matter to me as we get hit with allot of rain here in SE Georgia. They are both quick and easy to use. Personally slope is not that important to me. Golfsmith, TGW seems they are all currently selling the Z6 for $349.

Is the Z6 that much lighter/smaller than the Tour X?
