Do you feel the club head throughout the entire swing?

I've been trying to remove tension from my golf swing. I can feel the club head on my back swing usually but have trouble keeping my hands loose/tension free through downswing/impact. Any good tips/videos?

Yes, I feel the club, including the club head, throughout the swing. The reason I can is because I am focused on maintaining a constant grip pressure as the club swings back and through, and because I use my arms, not my hands to swing the club forward. The reason you are having difficulty in the down swing is probably because your are grabbing the club and using your hands in transition. Once the club is over your trail shoulder the only job of the hands is to hold the club while it swings.

Find a tension solution using a potato chip. Hold thinnest chip between front teeth and swing hard and fast without breaking the crispy morsel. Afterward, a snack to boot, win-win.

Visualize the target and feel the club head. When a QB like Tom Brady looks at a defensive formation, how many things is he thinking about?

Tension is most likely from wasted motion. Hard to eliminate it without addressing the core issue

I am feeling the club swinging and thinking how far im trying to carry the ball, and the traj on every shot

Brady is thinking about a lot of things while reading the defense. In the act of trowing he's thinking about the shape of the ball going to the target.

Some studies have shown that Tour players use a significantly higher grip pressure than most amateurs, and that their grip pressure stays nearly constant through the swing. I think Steve is right, constant firm pressure is what is needed. To accelerate a club from nearly motionless to 100+ mph takes significant force, delivered through the hands to the club. If you start with really light pressure, and grip tighter during the swing, that becomes a problem. Grip firmly from the start, while (somehow) minimizing tension in your arms and shoulders.
