Just picked up a Odyssey black series tour design #5

This thing was pratically brand new. Looked as if its never struck a putt. Got it for cheap, $89 for this thing was a steal. I was actually in to buy a GoLo but this thing made way more putts.

I cant wait till tomorrow morning to try it out on the course. It has a great weight to it,.350grams.

Anyone else love these?

I picked up a #1 wide a few months ago and it's the only thing that's kicked my SC Newport 2 mid slant out of the bag. Great putter with lots of weight, just put a vibrant black shaft and Odyssey grip on it. The black series tour designs are one of Odyssey's best offerings IMHO

Love the #9. Softest milled face ever. Great distance control.

Great putter. The only thing that I disliked about these putters were the site lines !!

I played the similar Odyssey Black Series i #7 from the time it was introduced to earlier this year. Great putters.

I'm still not sure why I sold mine.

I have a number #2 that was 35 and 340 grams. I cut it down to 34 and am loving this thing!!!!

That's the half-mallet one, right? I tried it and liked it, but I'm too used to blade putters to change now.

Black series Odyssey are really sweet...still gaming the Black i series # 1 with the tungsten weighting. New Protype Black are very nice as well, very stealthy.

[/quote]Yes they get released tomorrow, but we got all 3 models at GG. Really like the # 2 and # 9, although the grips on the original Protype were much better.

Found a #2 at Golfsmith, which I thought they were sold out of. Loving it so far. It's the first Anser 2 style (squarer shape) that I've liked the look of. I think the dark finish hides the square lines, usually I won't even consider the 2 vs the softer Anser/Newport shape. Find that I am able to really line this putter up perfectly, and the feel is superb. Rolls end over end immediately. Really good distance control, too. Best $125 I've spent on a golf club.

Picked up a #4 a year ago. Threw on a black&white SuperStroke grip. It looks sexy and putts so pure. Can't beat the pricing on them either; last year I picked it up for $100

I play a #6 and it isn't going anywhere. Great putters. Dirt cheap too since they're "obsolute" to the "superior" ProType black putters... LOL

After about 5 rounds now with the new flat stick. I love it more now that ever. Ive shot my 2 lowest rounds in my life with this thing, 76&78 last week.

The feel is perfect, its got such a soft feel when you strike it well. This is my first serious putter, I played a $30 ram for the last 4years, this was LONG over due.

Picked up a #8 yesterday from a member here, but waiting for its arrival. I made a lot more putts with it than any other putter I tried at Golfsmith. I was totally surprised as I've used nothing but a newport, pal 2 or anser 2 style putter since I started playing golf.

I've really been working my butt off on my putting. I also have improved my alignment signifigantly. Because, now I actually aim, lol. I used to just walk up to a putt, see it, stroke it. Lets just say tge results were anything but mixed haha. So I started using the supplied line on the ProV1x, it was very uncomfortable having trust my line, but its worked out so well.

This putter is very consistent in feel, performance. It gets the ball rolling so well and true. Its great to see that line roll straight like I wanted and not wobble and bounce

Does odyssey make the design # 5 and 6 in left handed? I know they make the 1, 2, 8 and 9 in left handed
