Look what happened to my SHOES!!!

my sweet tour 360 II... DEAD :(

i bought my white adidas tour 360 II 7/4/07
so..its about a year old.

today in chicago i was playing golf and my right foot felt kinda weird.
i looked at my shoes and look what happened!
the bottom sole is ripped off!
hmm...how bout the left one?
same thing happened..
considering its flexibility(?) of this part, i think it happened quite a while ago.

i checked the warranty but most of the shoes companies give the waterproof warranties.

did this happen to anybody else?
can i receive a new one from adidas(through warranty)?

that's not a shoe coming apart you are looking at, it's a brand new pair of shoes that hasn't been delivered yet.

Yeah deffinitely take them back. Late last year I had a pair of Tour Metals do the same thing to me. Took em back to golfer's warehouse and they gave me whatever pair of Adidas shoes were of equal value, which were Powerbands. Now I'm bringing those back next week because the liner is ripping.

call adidas golf. I had the exact same thing happen to me. they had a new pair at my door in under a week.

Go to golfsmith and tell them water is leaking... walk out with $180 gift receipt

They either neeed to go back via the store he bought them, or straight to adidas.

Mine are in a similar state. The compressed air spike cleaning gun lifts the soles. No problems on the course, though.

yeah just give them a call directly and let them know whats going on and they will set you up with a return and send you a brand new pair!

I can't say enough about adidas's customer service.

 

I've had a few soccer boots go out in the past and all you have to do is give them a ring, they'll agree to look at them, set up a pick-up so you don't have to pay shipping, and send your new shoes out within a week.

 

If the store you purchased them at isn't readily accessible, just let them know; they'll understand.

Same happened to mine. I took them to my Pro 2 weeks ago to send back to Adidas, but haven't heard anything yet.

 

It seems to be a common problem with them.

Same thing happened to a pair of Nikes a few years back. I was casually telling a different store what happened. They said bring them in for a gift certificate. I told them I didn't buy them at their store. Didn't matter to them because it's Nike's money/loss, not the stores.

 

If have any problems getting a new pair talk to an ADIDAS rep.

I had the whole front part of the sole come away from the shoe itself, it happened to two pairs of the original tour 360's that i used to own, but this was a few years back, id hope they would've sorted the problem by now.

Their customer service is great, 2 year pretty much no questions asked.

Send them back/bring them back to the store....and you should get a new pair hassle free.

same thing happened to mine. just called TMAG and they said bring them back to a retailer and have the call in the warranty claim. since i work at a TMAG retailer that's pretty easy, but I'm wondering what people have said to get TMAG to send them a new pair to their house (without receiving the damaged shoes as part of a warranty claim).

but arent they kinda heavy? they r much heavier than other shoes

im walking guy(high school golfer) so... i like mine

 

BTW! i called adidas customer service and look what they did!

Shawn(the service guy) told me to go to the golf store nearest my place

and claim a new pair

well i went to the golfsmith and i actually had two options

1. get a same model(different color is possible)

2. get credit of $99 (tour 360 II r $119 right now)

i really wanted to buy new nike air tour 8.5 but they r $179

but...dont wanna pay $80

so BRAND NEW SHOES AGAIN IN A YEAR!

Chalk up another win for Adidas customer service. I would have been SHOCKED if they didn't take care of you.

When i was getting new shoes the guy in Nevada bobs told me that their store is full of adidas 360's that have been returned due to leaking water. Apparently Hi-tec not much better. He said they absolutely NEVER have any returns on Ecco and not many Footjoys. I bought Puma Lindebergs as it was the start of the summer and I'm expecting not 2many wet days but coming into the winter I'l deffo but eccos and see if they'r all they're cracked up to be.

Having said that, Adidas' customer service is possibly the best in the sports wear world!
