wow that is one good looking hybrid. I am going to have to check these out for sure. Srixon and Bridgestone are competing for my money in the next few months. as a bstone maniac these srixons woods are pulling me away just on the visuals, might have to replace my j40 hybrids for sure with the H45s

Had a chance to hit these yesterday when I picked up my 745 driver that had just come in. Albeit with range balls off a mat under a canopy in 50 degree rain. The three wood looks tiny at address, I think because it is so rounded along the back it almost has a hybrid look to it, I put it down next to a G25 3W and there wasn't THAT much difference in size, just the shape makes the Srixon look much more compact. I got along real well with the 3W, had read that it was kind of demanding but it launched easily for me and was on the higher side off the deck. The feel was crisp more than soft. The hybrid I only hit a handful of times at the end when I was getting tired, and only hit it really well once. It felt good and was also a little higher launch than I expected.

Could be the shaft--I hit the 9.5* 745 higher than I expected as well, and I usually play that loft or even a tick lower in driver. I plan on hitting them again off the turf when it isn't raining. The looks are fantastic and so is feel. Definitely worth checking out if you can find them in your area. Just Fore Fun Golf in Champaign, IL has the drivers, 3W and hybrid demo clubs out on the rack already.

Went back and hit these on the grass today. Love them. Easy to launch and great turf interaction. The 3 wood is a cannon. Ended up ordering the 3W and 19* HY.

The 3 wood is a such a cool club isn't it? You described it very well-- and funny because I did exactly the same thing you did except I set it down next to a G30 fairway. It reminds me of "old school" fairways sorta like you said as today's "modern hybrids" from address that is...

The 3 wood looks, sounds, and feels awesome. I didn't hit with the aid of a launch monitor or on the course to truly compare against the 3 wood in my bag but I could it a "modern classic" because its got an old classic style 3 wood look but the ball speed and strong flight from a modern 3 metal. Love the feel/sound this thing produces when you hit it dead center... really a cool club if that's what you're looking for...

Tell you what the entire Srixon line is really, really good! Irons are absolutely fantastic, driver is great and the fairway/hybrid line is very good too. Move over Cleveland.

JW, I'm very interested in the whole Srixon lineup and have zero demo access to any of these clubs, like many others no doubt. We all eagerly await your extended review with numbers, etc. because your results, because of the way your arrive at and describe them, are actually valuable to other players. So make some time and get to it!

Got to hit the Srixon F45 3 wood and H45 hybrid with some comparisons the competition today. I have to echo the comments in this thread about the 3 wood. It looks like a players 3 wood, but launches easily off the deck and performs very well. The hybrid also looks and feels great.

I will also chime in and give my praise to the Z F45. I've always felt the 3-wood was the hardest club to replace in my bag. I've been playing the Callaway X Hot Pro 15* for the past 3 years or so and haven't found anything remotely close to that in terms of feel, distance and overall performance. The new 915F is close...but still doesn't give me the same results I have been getting from the X Hot. Well...the Z F45 is now the newest addition to my bag. Feel and distance are both improved over the X Hot Pro. In addition, it launches surprisingly easy off the deck. The X Hot always seemed to have the market cornered on that b/c of its shallow face and sole design. Despite the Z F45's appearance, I have NO trouble hitting it off the deck...and man does it carry.

It has now become my favorite club in the bag.

Well done Srixon.

Couldn't visibly do the fairways... those topline paintbreaks have more curves than hipster mustaches.

They must be a few years behind at Srixon. No speed slot/compression channel just a weight?
They look awesome btw.

Have hit the 3w at my course and while I am not a fan of the stock kuro kage shaft, the head itself is very impressive.

I know many may not agree but it reminds me of the Titleist 909 series. It as if you can feel the head compress around the ball before it springs off the face. For me I like this soft feeling vice the rock hard faces on the market today.
