From what I have read so far is that the pro has the boron tip, the non pro version does not....what is TMAG offering in the M1/M2 driver? Is there a noticeable difference in feel and ball dispersion between the pro and non pro? Does the boron make the tip feel more stable at impact?

The difference between the Pro and non-Pro FOR ME were big. The pro version felt more stable, slightly lower launch, and a big reduction in spin.

Pro version Tensei shafts are very stable. And this can be critical with counterweighted shafts, since either more weight is added to the head, or either a longer shaft is used for swing weight adjustment or extra weight added to balance swing weight with a shorter shaft - either way, more torque is then applied to the shaft by extra weight, increasing dispersion for many players.

I play longer and extra counterweighted Tensei shafts, so really appreciate the Tensei PRO boron tips for stability and keeping the dispersion down.

IMO, this is one of the reasons many male players don't have success with longer shafted woods - long hitting but wild.

LPGA players get away with it because they have less speed and torque applied to long shafts.

Tensei PRO shafts are a welcome upgrade for male players wanting to to use shorter shafts and heavier heads, or, players desiring to use longer shafts.(Often older players looking to degain or retain distance with the driver).

I'm playing a Tensei Orange V2 60TX at 47" with Bocierri counterweighted grip + added head weight to bring swing weight back down to D-3 (D-9 without the Bocierri grips). This setup is clearly longer and straighter hitting for me.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead. But I just got mine and I absolutely love it. Was bombing drives around the 280 mark. Which is great for me. I'm in the high 90s to low 100s swing speed. I feel like I got a great deal on this shaft at $135 plus tax. Including head adapter and grip already installed.
