If your normal roll out is 1 yard, you must add 1% to roll out so you dont mess up your yardage map ;.-)

The first stroke that day might have good spin, but during the day, face roughness changes to less roughness, so all rust does is eating up the face of the wedge, and make stains on your bag.

Yeah, it's not "old" tech, but it seems as though it's the same from the prior gen.

Again, I play the black vokeys and have 0 concern about spin capabilities

in this case it seems simple, grooves is made before plating, and those are close to the legal limit, and as soon they are chrome plated, the grooves become "a little less aggressive", but hardly enough to measure since we talk 1% in difference to spin. The surface we hit it from and our access to the ball will make way lager differences during play, so i dont understand why they bother to mention that there is a difference since it means nothing outside the paper.

If you buy a driver "off the rack", you risk that lofts is 2 off from specs, and thats average 500 rpms, and does make a difference on a driver (but they dont tell you that facts), while 100 rpms on a wedge means nothing, it would not make any difference on a driver either.
