Music on the course - I'm turning against it after supporting it

I wasn't even thinking of the loudness question. What i am saying is EVERY one who plays music says it is

always turned down and can only be heard in the cart or close by..and a large number of folks will

tell you that they are hearing the music from a long ways away. What i am saying is that we have a huge difference of

opinion on the issue,and it will continue to build down the road. And your response of insulting someone that would dare to

tell you they dont care for music on the course is a perfect example of where the problem is. Do you Really think your friends and

golfing companions aren't aware of your feelings? Do you really think one of them would enjoy having a disagreement

with you.over playing music? I doubt that they would ever let you know . Not because they aren't confident enough to say something, but sometimes,the hassle isn't worth the effort.

I 100% agree with you that this issue has a huge difference in opinion. That's why this thread is 9 pages long.

I believe in good manners that's why in the referenced post, and if you look at my subsequent others in this thread you see that I/my group will always ask someone who joins the group if it is ok. Now the manners is a two way street you can accept or decline music and it's over let's golf.

The place for debate is here on a forum or in the clubhouse over a drink, and not the first tee. That was the point I think you took as me be insulting. I just meant as I politely asked asked I should receive a simple polite answer and we move on, and can debate at a proper time.

Gotcha ! Understood and agree . Your method would not be a problem for me, because frankly,

I'd have to laugh and tell you that my hearing is so poor that i probably wouldn't be able to hear

it , and if i could it would sound low volumn !

We now do this at our club, with bagpipe music whenever we hear it from another cart, the “no music at all”, vote is up at the next meeting
