I thought looking back over the thread I would see which songs got the love. I shall repost the songs that garnered the most likes. This is just a compiling and I missed a few I bet.

Thought I share them as a one year Anniversary present ( Feb.23 this month) for those of us that got some flashbacks from this fantastic thread that Bob Cat created. Fond memories were brought to the surface for many of us with the posts here.

Keep in mind all the likes from the early pages vanished with the site's change over, but I found some in later pages.

Well how was that? Those were the stand out favorites voted by the regulars of this thread over the last year. Now I think I will make a play list of all of them.

Thanks going out to stryper and Bob Cat for giving the touch (60's singing, 70's rock and funk guy) his acknowledgements above.

I think it was fantastic that some tunes appeared on that list from all of the main contributors here.

I am not sure i remember seeing the Streetcorner Symphony during my days in West County STL. I did watch the video and the second half of the song is fast and smooth. It almost sounds like a more electric Chicago sound.

Many people say he put on the best concerts in rock and roll during his heyday. I'm sure it was a blast to attend one.

I only like a couple of Bruce's songs.

Born to Run is one of Rock's Mt. Rushmore songs for sure.

Now this song of Springsteen kicks undeniable A** and is my favorite.

Just try to drive the speed limit when this is playing as you bop down the highway !

I was 14 years old and being held prisoner in my parents home so I was not allowed to get that one. I remember a fellow classmate wearing the T shirt to school and getting sent home. Thanks for posting Bobcat.
