Driver: Ping G410lst 9 degrees in flat setting, 14 g weight in the draw setting, shaft is VA nemesys 75x tipped one inch, playing at 45 inches

3 wood: Titleist TS2 16.5 turned to C1 so 15.75, Kura Kage XD 80tx tipped 1.5 inches, plays at 42.75

2 iron: no picture at this time, Mizuno hmb 16 degrees with MMT 105tx UT shaft

irons: 4 iron (hmb) 5 & 6 (mmc) 6-pw (mb) shafted with KBS c taper 130x. +.5 length and .5 lie angle

wedges: RTX4 rusted out, 50 degree mid bounce, 56 bent to 55 mid bounce, 60 degree low bounce. Shafted with kbs 610 s+. Length +.5 lie 64

all clubs are gripped with golf pride MCC midsize with 2 extra wraps

putter: Bettinardi studio stock 8 blacked out, 34.5 inches with a super stroke gt pistol 1.0

ball: currently using Bridgestone tour B X

solid setup, i'm running something similar, Ping up top, mizuno irons (if have the jpx 919 tour, but thinking i'd like to go back to the MB's), although I do have vokey wedges

Based on setup and tee marks, I'd bet you hit the end of alot of fairways in SD. lol. Sweet bag!

Enjoy It so much I switched it out of my honma 3 iron to put in my Mizuno hmb 2, will give it a go in that head this weekend

Does it feel smooth, but still "act" stiff? I'm really getting into these high torque high CPM shafts. My accra 475 M5 is an 80g raw shaft that CPM's closer to a double X but man it feels so nice. Never feels boardy or like I need to swing out of my shoes. The Specs on the MMT remind me of this type of shaft design. Ultra stiff tip, but somehow increasing torque to provide feel/feedback/smoothness.

What is your swing speed? I'm probably a 110-112 right now, might see myself in the upper teens if I tighten up my mechanics a bit.

Driver speed is 115-120ish depending on the day, it plays smooth to me, I had c taper In my 2 iron but weight At 130g became an issue, goin for an overall lighter shaft, I can report back more on Saturday!

yes report back. Did you think c taper felt smooth? I always felt like the handles and mid sections were so stout... no feel at all for me. Only KBS shaft I've ever liked was $ Taper.

I enjoy c taper, just seems to work for me. I have to slow down my tempo and they feel perfect. I’m a former college football player and was a big baseball player player growing up so I tend to be super aggressive and c taper handles it for me

monday night round playing the 15th hole, driver exploded off the tee box , bye bye G410lst. Hopefully under warranty. I do the dollar driver club for it so it should be covered, also tempted to go a different route and get a sim, used my brother in laws for the last few holes paired with a ventus black 7x, poked one 374, longest drive or my life

Replacement driving testing going on this weekend, I really enjoyed the nemesys with the heavier head but It seemed to spin a hair high, I have a Aldila synergy proto 80tx which I believe is the proto to the Aldila atx green graphene. I went and stole my brothers 9 degree sim max head, gonna give it a shot. Playing at 45 and a d2 swing weight, personally would have hot melted it to D4-D5 but it’s not mine lol. Gonna give it a go. Hopefully help me decide between the sim 9 and the sim max, I don’t think I need to go the standard route as I’m killing enough spin with the shaft tipped 1.25

Little update but the 80tx was a little too low spin, I ended up getting a Aldila RIP X 75tx tipped one inch as a replacement as I’ve had a go with the black mamba before. Sim 8 degree head should arrive tomorrow and my shaft should hopefully arrive before my birthday next week! Pumped

Driver update: no play sim driver at 8 degrees with a Aldila RIP x 75tx tipped one inch, length at 45.5, hot melted to D7. I also put my backup set into play today, honma tr20v 4-PW with modus 120tx. Also have a tw-x that is being shafted up with Aldila tour green 105tx that I should have by tomorrow. Honma s are incredible soft! I honestly think they feel better than my Mizunos. Got a couple more weeks til my summer golf trip to prairie club in valentine Nebraska.
