Yes I am quite familiar with the area. It's my old stompin' grounds! Born in Plattsburgh, raised in Peru. Graduated from PSUC. Moved "west" to Massena and spent 14 years there. Never did I get the chance to play any golf outside in December! Weather can be fickle thing sometimes...Super glad you got the opportunity and hope you enjoyed the experience.

That's cool because there's really no one from the North Country on WRX. So it's always cool to see people who've are from her or maybe lived here.

So this is a blast from the past bringing this thread back. But anyone order any of the MG gloves lately? Have they fixed the velcro issue?

These are just so cheap (like the price of a ProV) I won't feel like it's necessary to keep using a glove and taping it up with athletic/hockey tape to keep the life span reasonable. I've got sweaty hands and use cord grips so I can tear through a glove in a practice session.

I have been using these gloves for a couple of years. I usually buy 12 a year since I play quite a bit. They are very good quality for the price. The updated version does not have the MG stitched logo anymore on my elites, but rather a thermal plastic decal now. I did have a few last year with weak Velcro, but at such a great price point, it wasn't a huge deal. I haven't had a weak Velcro issue with the new batches.

A single glove is cheaper then a sleeve of golf balls that I go thru every week. Highly recommend them.

I ordered the Tech Grip about a month ago since they reminded me of the old SciFlex I used to play. A few rounds in and I’ve been very satisfied. For the price you can’t beat em!

I use the TechGrip. Haven't had a velcro problem in the last 3-4 years, so that appears fixed. They wear well enough, and I don't feel bad about pulling a new one out at the prices they charge.

I ordered the DynaGrip elite with a custom logo and they’re fantastic. I’ve not had any issues with them at all. Excellent value and I’l be buying more when these wear out.

I typically use M/L in FJ gloves so I ordered M/L in MG. They feel like a L FJ glove unfortunately. Anyone else have sizing issues with theirs?

Yup, typically an XXL in FJ so ordered 2 from MG. The fingers don’t fit well for me, palm is ok but fingers are too long, I have to pull them down. Still, decent glove for a decent price.

I just ordered 8 elites in cadet XL and only made it thru 1 glove so far. Velcro seems good on it after two HOT range sessions and a round of golf.
