Looking for shorts that are actually shorts :)

Hoping you guys can make some recommendations. Summer is coming and I need some nice golf shorts. I've tried JL, Puma, etc and the leg portion are super long. I'm looking for some shorts that go just past the knee and don't look like capris. lol

My favorites for shorts include.........Luv the Dockers Backswing Shorts, have a couple pairs of the Under Armour shorts, Like a brand called Pro Tour shorts, and although i don't own any pairs, I hear the Adidas Clima Cool shorts are good as well. I buy almost all my golf shorts on ebay. If you look hard enough and don't mind taking the time you can get some real bargains. I bought six pairs (all NWT) this winter of the afore mentioned brands and didn't pay more than $20 for any one pair, and most of these retail for 40-60 dollars each.

Chaps golf shorts are almost perfect as far as length goes but run a little bit small in the waist. Very nice, clean looking shorts for sure!

I HATE shopping for golf shorts. I'm only 5'9", and the now seemingingly standard 11" inseam on shorts is NOT a good look on me.

Usually most manufactures still have one style of short with about a 10" inseam, which is what I need. I like my shorts to hit right above or the middle of the knee. I've found Polo shorts to be pretty good fit-wise in that regard ...

Cutter and Buck gabardine or the dry-luxe I think they are called are both really nice shorts with a classic fit.

Try ClimaCool shorts by Adidas. They're not the 3-stripe shorts, as those tend to be 1" longer, I think. They're the solid-color shorts.

Also, try UnderArmor. The length should be just what you're looking for, and in a SUPER-LIGHT weight. Wow, those things are seriously light-weight. Don't own any, but would if they were a hair longer. Must feel like you're not wearing anything at all. Must be cool in the summer.
