Understanding Specs on Drivers/Woods

Hey All! I'm interested in buying a driver online but I can't seem to get straight answers from guys that sell these online from time to time and "NO" I don't own the rights to this picture and I'm not here to put it down at all. I just want to know what F.A. means? I'm assuming face angle is, but does that mean open or closed? Anybody have ideas or experience with this? Thanks guys! This one says 2.25 (open? closed?) Probably a dumb question but don't want to purchase the wrong thing ;)

Tp on the crown = pro and that would normally means open but it could be an exception.

I was just curious what the 2.25 means next to F.A.

One other concern is head weight.....more often then not, these heads are light....I think this one says 195.1 grams. If want to lead tape it up to a gram weight that gets you to your favorite SW or get it hot melted, then it does not matter much. But if you do not want to not touch it, you better like a 46" or so driver length.

F A Face Angle eg square, or Open 1 degree or 2 degree or 2.25 degree here.
Game Improvement may be 1 to 2 degrees closed.....anti slice !

Weight is critical sometimes, Drivers from 195 grams to 205. I like over 200gm.
On a 3 wood 214grams to 220 grams range with 220 grams in the I Like Category!

That one is designating 2.25* open. Generally they'll put a + with the number for open, or a (-) for closed. Sometimes they'll short cut and not add the + for the open tour type heads, but they'll almost always add a (-) for a closed face spec

Yup, its 2.25* open. Closed would have a (-) symbol in front.

When I read a post in WRX about Callaway x2hot drivers selling for $229 I though it was time to get an adjustable driver. I was concerned about the shaft length 46" I went to Callaway golf.com and found out I could get cut to 44" and it would be kept as close to D 3 weight as they could I should get it Wednesday. Seems like an OK deal to me,and it could be a thought for you. If it does not come close to D 3 they said I could return it
