So I am in tinkering mode, and I have decided between 3 different driver shafts.
This shaft is for my Nike Covert 2.0 Tour driver.

1) Diamana Blueboard 63x (Current Shaft)
2) Graphite Design Tour AD DI 6x
3) Kuro Kage Tini Silver 60x

Anyone have any opinions or preferences??

Thanks.
[/quote] oh my lord the tour ad di 6x such a good shaft by far better then any shaft out there imo i have it in my sldr

I used to have 3-PW and a 54/60 combo but I kept finding myself in the 125/120/115 yardage and I had 2 options that I didn't like too much.
1) Hit my 54 hard for the 120/115 yardage, but swinging that hard with that wedge usually wasn't a good result
2) Hit my PW super soft for the 125/120 yardage, but this usually didn't work out

There is a 30 yard gap between my 5 wood and 4i and that gap is one I am comfortable with compared to having that distance gap between 54 and PW. It might be a good idea to strengthen my 4i 1 degree. That might help close that gap a little bit so thats a good idea.

I'm finding myself with the same problem, and only ever use the 3i off the tee if it's windy or shorter doglegs. Swing too harder with 54 and/or 60 usually doesn't work out too well for me either. Again love the setup but as a 12 hc myself I can't justify paying to change out the shafts in my woods. Good luck this summer.

I do like the TOUR AD DI but I find myself wanting to try that Kuro Kage 60x especially since I am very "Pro-Rory" right now. The TOUR AD DI is my current back up to my Blueboard 63x.

That Kuro Kage seems to work for him...might as well give it a shot. I've been looking for one on eBay or classified section. Definitely eyeballing ones that already have covert adapter on the shaft.

I just purchased Kuro Kage Silver 60x. Waiting on it to arrive to test out between my other 2 shafts.

Looking forward to seeing what numbers and ball flight the KK Silver produces.

Playing tomorrow and will be using the Kuro Kage Silver 60x. Once I finish the round, I will post my thoughts, comments, concerns, feedback about the shaft.

I have used this Covert 2.0 Tour in 2 different shafts so far (Tour AD DI 6x, Blueboard 63X), so we will see how the Kuro Kage stacks up.

Yes. About 12 gram difference.:)

Anyways, I have no idea. I am sure someone here can chime in on that.

Do they still make the P95? I only see them on eBAY, new for $200 or so. Sometimes here on the BST as well.

I need some help from the GolfWRX community regarding Nike Vapor irons...

I am a 7 handicap and currently use Nike VR Pro Combo CB 4-PW (sometimes I will add then 3) iron with Project X 6.5s. I hit my 7 iron 175 yards with a mid/high ball flight on my irons. I am considering order a combination set of the new Nike Vapor irons with a combo of of the Pros and the Pro Combos. I am considering ordering (3)4-7 in Pro Combo and 8-PW in Pro.

I was hoping you all could help me decide where to make the switch from Pro Combo to Pro - if any change at all. I could just stick with an entire set of the Pro Combos. Also, any shaft recommendations would be great as well.

Any help is greatly appreciated and will definitely be taken into consideration with ordering.

Most of the guys play the 8-PW in Pro's, but it's really up to your game and what you feel comfortable with. I'd make the cut off at the 7 iron for sure I don't think you'd want the 6 in the Pro. That's my .02.

Shafts what are you looking for? Higher or lower ball flight? More or less spin? Feel?

Ya I was thinking the switch over to pro at 8. I currently game the project x 6.5 and love the weight and feel. Don't think I should be changing that. The only time I might have an issue getting the ball a bit higher in the air is with the 4 and 5. My current vr pro combos don't make it too easy but I can do it. If I could change anything about the shaft, it would be to have a bit more feel on strikes.

With the 6-pw I have zero problem fighting the ball the way I want with my current set. The long irons sometimes cause some issue but not enough of an issue to switch to a hybrid anywhere in the set bc I do love the long irons.

I like the idea of splitting the set just where you mentioned--VPC 4-7 and Pro 8-P. I got to hit last years Pro Combos very little, but from what I remember I hit the 5 iron higher in my VPC than in the older set. I'll be fair in that I have no idea what shaft the older Combo had in it.

I do remember that no matter what the shaft was in it, the VRS Forged was going at least a club farther and a few degrees higher launch than the 2014 PC when I was being fit at the Oven. The VPCs I have a very similar to the VRS Forged in flight.

Thank you for your feed back Shakey. In believe by keeping then 6.5 shafts, it will allow me to still get the ball in the air with the long irons pretty easy. Seems as though the long irons on the VPC are easy to launch when needed.

How do we feel about going VPC all the way through with NO transition to the pros? That's also another option I was looking at as well - but the pro short irons look so clean.

I went VPC 5-P and kept my VRS forged 4 iron. The 5 and 6 in the VPC have been easy to launch in the little I've had to hit them. 6 usually isn't an issue, but 5 can be a problem when I'm not playing very much.

Although the Pro short irons look VERY good, I'm happy with the VPC. So far, the short irons have been very easy to control. I thought about getting the Pro 9 and PW at the beginning, but I'm glad I went with the set as is.

Awesome news. Leaving the entire set PROCombo is something I'm also considering. I know the entire vapor line blends well but keeping it all VPC might be the route I take.

My Nike shipment has arrived. Goodbye VR Pro Combo, Hello Vapor PC! Same Project X 6.5 Shafts.
I purchased 3-PW but will only be playing 4-PW for the time being due to the 4 wedges (PW, 51, 55, 59).

As the weather in Dallas warms up, I will get them on the course and get some better photos for you all to check out.

I haven't updated this is a while but got a new driver a while back...

Nike Vapor Pro w/ real deal Diamana Blueboard 63x. I also have a Kuro Kage Silver 60x that I sometimes throw into the driver but the Blueboard 63x is my gamer.

I am really intrigued by the vapor speed fairway woods. Not sure how different they are compared to covert 2.0 performance fairways. If I ever come across some vapor speed fairway heads, I will pull the trigger.

So I've made some changes to the bag over the last few weeks. I've gotten rid of the covert performance 2.0 3 and 5 woods. Not that I didn't like them but they were just very heavy heads. The Diamana blueboard 83x shafts I still have in them and might use those for a different project later on. But for now - I've upgraded...

I recently purchase from another GolfWrxer a Nike Vapor Speed "2 dot" LTD 3 wood. I'm pulling the stock shaft and putting a Kuro Kage Silver Tini 70x shaft in there. Can't wait to hit it.

As for the 5 wood, I purchased a few weeks back a retail version of the Nike Vapor Speed 5 wood. I put the same Kuro Kage Silver Tini 70x shaft in that club as well. Love it so far.

I am tinkering around with driver shafts in my Nike Vapor Pro. I currently use an original Diamana Blueboard 63x. Been driving it great but looking for a bit more. I purchased a Kuro Kage Silver Tini 60x driver shaft and will put a Nije Flexloft adapter on there tomorrow.

Looking for big things to happen with these changes. Wish me luck.

NOTE: For some reason, I can't seem to add photos. I get notification that "photos are too big." Any help would be appreciated so I can share my new bag improvements.

How's the Vapor Speed LE working out? Looking for a new 3 wood.

I got rid of it. Loved the look but couldn't hit it. I put the covert performance 2.0 back in the bag.

I will soon be ordering the new vapor fly.

So a little bit of an updated....

I got the vapor fly pro in the bag and i love it. The blue looks amazing - even better than i thought. I only ordered the head so I put the blueboard S+ 60x shaft in that head but I still feel that shaft might not be right for me. I have a KK Silver TiNi 60x that I might test out.

I received my vapor fly 3 from DD. Great service. I kept the blueboard S+ 70x in there and will probably keep it. Love the way the club launches . Much better than the covert performance 2.0. I opened it to 16 degrees to get a bit more loft and it has definitely helped.

My 5 wood is up for question. I currently use a vapor speed with KK Silver Tini 70x but I hit that thing freaking sky high. Cant bring it down to save my life. It could be my swing which is off at the moment but I think the club has something to do with it also. Thinking about taking my original blueboard 83x and putting into the vapor speed OR getting a vapor fly 5 wood and having a blueboard S+ 80X.

Did you get just the Vapor Fly Pro head on the BST or the bay? I wouldn't have thought that a retailer would let you just order the head. Can feel free to PM if you don't want to disclose a source publically.
