I hit em at a demo day last year. I woulda had no problem playing them. Good flight and distance, but I didn't care for the feel/sound much. Lots different then what I play and like. I could get used to that though I'm sure. Where'd you get 'em? Sounds like you got a deal.

How are they compared to the CMBs? I'm in the market for a back up set and rocketbladez tour are in the running. Which shafts do you have in each?

Cmb's I have c taper stiff soft stepped once. The rocketbladez tour are kbs tour 90 stiff. Only demoed the rbz tour never hit them too solid but I thought for the price why not. I will keep you posted on how they play.

I borrowed a buddies 8 iron today on a par 3 playing 145 into the wind. I almost hit my first hole in one. It ended up like 18" past the hole.

I'm taking a serious look at them right now. The RBZ Tour and the SpeedBlade. I'm currently playing a set of X Hot Pros so they're pretty similar.

I picked up a set this year. I'm coming from a long line of forged Macgregor clubs and these don't feel bad at all. Solid clubs for sure! Very easy to hit HIIIGGGGHHHHHH

Hit them at a local course (closed for the day Chicagoland snow in May) I hit all the irons a few times maybe 20 balls. Eyeing the shots I would say possible on gapping problems but really haven't got them out there enough yet. Ready to get some rounds with these under my belt.

I am playing Rbladez Tour 3-PW. I like them MUCH better after reshafting them with DG X200. I liked the feel from the stock KBS shafts, but they spun too much and a couple were bending. Forced my hand. I don't have any weird gap from 7 (slot) to 8. I think these irons are very solid and forgiving. I hit them maybe a couple yards longer than my Adams Pro A12's. Not much difference there. It's the forgiveness that makes these stand out. They play like a super game-improvement club. It will take a lot for me to move on.

This is my second season playing the RBZ Tour iron (GW to 3 iron, KBS C-tapers Stiff Flex). . . I have approximately 90 rounds with these irons, and I absolutely love them.

The performance is great. The C-tapers result in minimal dispersion, while the RBZ club heads are relatively compact and allow for great ball flight / trajectory, and a fair amount of work ability

Prior to the RBZ Tour irons, I played the prior TM Tour Preferred (MB / CB combo set with C-taper X-flex). While I liked the PW to 6 iron MBs, I never really liked the CB 5 to 3 irons.

First round in the books and these irons have amazed me. Compared to the cmb(which I still love) these are so much easier to hit. Was hitting 3 iron off tee on tight fairways and getting 225 carry with roll some holes 245 but laser straight. Long irons are simple to hit the whole set seams together very well. Best 350 I've spent in golf!

  • 4 weeks later...

Way late but I'm new here and just dumped mp 64 on ebay and picked up the tours (3-p) for 306 on a bid from an authorized ebay retailer...got em in kbs stiff 120. Playing first round with them for Father's Day. I am used to forged but honestly they feel better in the hand than 64's did. Can't wait to see how they feel and sound as some say they love it or some say they hate it. I'm not too picky, especially at that price.

Update: played first round with them and honestly can say they feel just as 'buttery' than the 64s and they're cast. Ball flight with the kbs stiff was really nice to look at. The weight of these clubs with the 120 gram shaft and clubhead just feel right. Longer for me than the 64's by half to a club but it was the first 18. Way more forgiving on misfits. This is my first TM set and I know a lot of people talk down about TM but I'm not sure why. These clubs are really great, especially for the price they're going for. I'm always using top flite d2 feel and these go great together. I can't wait to hit them again.

they are just normal "meh" irons for me. I have a friend who owns them as is a lefty...i've hit them a bunch of times (we have an unofficial club exchange program LOL). They are good irons, i'd have no problem playing them, they look nice.

But distance was the same as any other irons, feel was nothing special IMO. There's a lot of irons in this segment and these didn't stand out in any way to me

SLDR irons were more of the same, just hit them at a demo day

I played with the TM Burner 2.0 irons for 2 years and after my handicap dropped to 10 I bought them in this week. Went to the range for the first time yesterday and I am surprised by the high ball flight I am getting with them, really really high ball flight. They feel solid and sound good and look good. Will take 4-5 rounds to get used to them but loving them already.

Picked up a barely used set a couple months ago after playing Idea Pro Golds for a few years. The feel is a bit firmer than the Ideas for sure, but nothing even close to "harsh feeling." Picked up half a club distance, and haven't noticed any weird gaps between the 7 and 8. Playing with DGS300, interested to try some KBS tours in them after this year. Anyone who has gone from these to the tour preferred MCs or CBs, is there any noticeable performance or forgiveness advantage from the newer clubs/deeper slot?
