A Gift To A Lady WRXer.....Staff RM Tour Forged CBs

Ok, here's the deal. I am gifting these irons to a Lady WXR'er, though I don't know how to post them in a PM.

They are the 1998 Staff RM(Robert Mendrella) Tour Forged CB's.

They are 3i-PW, with the Staff Fire Stick 4.0 metal shafts in them.

I will post the complete set when I get back to Pgh, as this all that I have in my phone.

As I won them, though they have never been bagged, they are in exceptional condition.

The heads at the time were considered "mid-size," though they are the same size as the Staff Fi5's & Fg62's.

They are forged and are a beautiful iron.

You can swap out one of your other sets of Ladies iron shafts.

I hope that you like them and that they bring you many great shots and memories :)

I had a set of those a few years back and really liked them. Headweights were all over the place though.

I only started this thread to post these pics so that the Lady WRXer that I gifted them to could see the irons. I am unable to post pics in the PM area so I posted them here.

I have recieved a number of PM's inquiring about the irons and I just wanted to say again that they are spoken for.

Richard, I thought it was pretty clear that you weren't selling them. Just as an FYI to the recipient, these look like the fatshaft version but they really aren't. The shaft goes over a steel adapter that is glued into the hosel and is easily removed like any other steel shaft. You are then left with a standard .355 taper hosel.

[/quote]No B, you are correct and I was wrong. These irons do indeed have the 450 Fat Shafts in them.

I also have a set of Staff RM Midsize Forged CB's, which are fitted with the FireStick 4.0 shafts and I mixed them up.

It won't matter as she is going to swap em out with either a woman' shaft or a men's senior shaft.

I just figured that there were better uses for these than my closet

She's a real nice lady who likes a little more traditional iron shape and was familiar with Staff's iron lineage

I'm hanging in there though I wish that things could move at a quicker pace, however I'm fortunate to be around to complain so I guess that I should just shut my mouth and keep movin, at least that's what my shrink says, lol
