How do these compare to the 501cb? I have the 501cb and love the feel, but not a fan of the pw and sharper leading edges cause I dig quite a bit.

So far from the pics these look perfect!
[/quote]I moved the 501's to get these. I think 57's are the best cb miura has released. The 501's maybe had a bit lower launch and slightly better feel when pured, but the 57's have better turf interaction and a more heft feel at impact. And the overall squat head shape, slightly thicker topline, and perfect looking scoring irons make them superior to the 501 IMO. Best of all worlds in a forged package: looks, feel, playability, forgiveness, etc.

Thanks for posting those great pics! I've been contemplating a set of CB 501s but now all bets are off - I need these irons!! I may have to sell my car to get them but ...

I was able to hit these today. The club builder i get my stuff from had a 6 iron built up with a DG pro shaft and the feel was every bit as good as people say. I play callaway x forged from last year, which I think feel great and go through the ground great, but these were just plain better. If you can spare the extra coin, they're pretty sweet.

not a big fan of the cavity design, but love the topline, font, and pretty much everything else.

question: in the pics with the irons laying face-down on the ground, these 1957s seem to sit "higher" off the ground than pretty much everything else. does this mean the irons have more loft (ie more traditional than modern strong lofts)?

hahaha love it.....I had every intention of getting these but hit them all and ended up with Passing Point 9003. I need the extra "enhancement"...

Mine are expected to arrive before the weekend. They are a dead ringer for TM's Lehman Box Toe 300s. Can't wait as those were my chosen gamers for the better part of 5 years. I thought my purchase of the Apex Pros this past Spring would be my last set for a while. Then I realized that someone must have slipped me a stupid pill when I wasn't looking. The ho'ing is back in full swing.

Yes. Played 6/7 rounds since and these are the real deal. Tonight I will take some comparison shots with the sus316, af 302 and these.

The EPON AF 302s were the best iron i have ever played until I got the sus316, now the 316s are on the bench because of these cb57's.

I played the 202, 301, passing points and 501 miuras and always went away from them because the short irons were so ugly.

I have this set shafted with a SteelFibers i95s as well as the sus316s.

The CB57s have weaker lofts and ZERO offset.
Rough is a non issue as these cut thru pretty good.
The launch is perfect for me compared to the sets I have.
The size from heel to toe PERFECT.
The hosel is longer than the 302s and 316s. ( Maybe for weight purposes) LOVE the look though.

Overall very happy with the set and will probably not buy another set of irons unless EPoN comes out with the AF303.

Ill add some pictures tonight.

I came to this thread to ask about the offset these heads have as the Miura site doesn't list it. Judging from the pictures that 4 iron looks like it has more offset than the 1957 blades.

Anyone have the official offset numbers for these irons?

So, I got my set this morning. They were tour rep built and consist of 3-PW, 1* up, 1* strong and I had rare Tour Issue Dynamic Gold S300's installed in them. They play off of a 38" 5-iron and swingweight to D3.5 with the PW being D4. THESE ARE ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. I mean this from the 3-iron down to the wedge. They will get their first range session late this afternoon so I'm expecting huge things. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised to see the blade length a shade longer than the Apex Pros.

Oh yeah, did I mention that these look AWESOME???? My God, they bring me back to my TM 300 Lehman Box Toe days (just as I had hoped when I ordered them)......this time with an incredible satin finish.

I don't have the specs but there is a very, very slight offset in the longer irons and it's reduced to almost nothing as you get closer to the wedge. I slightly increased my offset but bumping the lofts by a degree.

Well, these irons are all I expected. Boy, have I missed that Miura feel. If you haven't hit a Miura iron you might be hard pressed to understand this but, as so many that have know, it's feel like no other iron shot. During a couple of my initial range sessions, I had so many comments from on-lookers on how solid these irons sounded......and they do. The contact sound they make is incredible.

The unfortunate thing for me is that on Saturday, I was riding and a cart for the second time this year. We were out looking a suggested course changes for next Spring and had an accident. On a big downhill stretch, we hit a patch of grass that was very wet. It resulted in the cart skidding across the path, hitting a smallish curb on the other side, breaking through a rail and sliding down the side of a 30 foot hill. While my clubs were completely unscathed (because they weren't with me), I wasn't so lucky. In a freakish way, I was thrown from the cart, landed against a tree and broke my arm in 3 places, along with 4 ribs and my wrist. I guess the bright side is that it's the end of the season (it that optimistic or what???). Now I have the whole winter to recover and rehab. As a result, I'm going to sell these works of art because I don't know how I will come through this and, as a result, may need to switch next year. So, if you are interested, PM me because they will go into the BST section sometime this week.

Wow! Def beautiful....that being said, they look like a S-55 version 2 to a tee! I am so surprised Miura didn't consider another small "something" to differentiate them some more. I'm not saying I wouldn't love to play them, just odd the two are so similar. And yes, I know a lot of muscle backs resemble each other but have never seen such a twin in the CB lines.

Very nice pics as usual OP
