Onoff Kuro Forged Irons

Can you tell me if there's any comparison between these clubs and the Mizuno JPX 850 forged or is this a dumb question? I really like the tungsten weights and the lack of badges but I'm wondering how easy they are to get in the air. Thanks

Never hit the jpx 850 forged. I'm not going to say anything bad about mizuno's as I think they are quality clubs. However, if I'm going to pay around the same amount of money I'd rather get the onoffs. These are forgiving irons that a high handicapper can play but workable enough for even low handicappers.

I have now played two rounds with my 2015 Kuro irons. Just simply the best!. Great feel (soft), great looking ( smallish head), great distance, and great dispersion. Four greats...never used that many superlatives in one sentence. Chris suggested these irons and he was spot on.

I will do that as soon as the snow melts and I get a few rounds in with them. They look better in person than any photos

Are you kidding? I'm on my second set of 2013's, and also have a set of the CB-358's. Without a doubt, some of the best feeling, best performing irons I have ever hit.

If you get the opportunity, I highly recommend them

I played the 1st 2 rounds this week with my new Kuro irons and I can say that these live up to the hype. Amazing soft feel , Accurate and long.

I highly recommend these Irons.

Onoff in general is much softer and better feeling irons. Softest iron I ever played.

Wasn't too impressed with JPX850. Had one for a week and sold it.

Every time a new product comes out, chris at tsg is heralding it as the best ever. No different with on off kuro's..first the on off forged was the best, then shingo's 358..now these..its called marketing genious at work. On off makes good stuff, all of there top end irons and wedges are superb.

Can you compare the topline of these to the 2011 forged? I have the '11 3 iron and it is my favorite albeit only onoff in my set. But I have been patiently waiting to go all out w/a full set of onoff, that is how much I love the 3 iron. So is the top line thicker or relatively the same? Thanx.

The top line is actually a little bit thinner than the 11's. Not much but slightly. Very minimal change in size from the 11's.

They're also a smidgeon shorter heel to toe, not by much, but I do notice it.

Had these for a hot second and they are everything that is said about them...soft, forgiving, nice shape and long! What I found most enjoyable about them is the longer irons, as they get up nice and easy and easily the best ball flight I've ever had for longer irons. I think they've done something really special w/ the weight shifting through the different irons, and for those looking for GI results but player CB looks, I don't think there's anything better out there right now.

I'm interested in these irons...I have the 52* and 56* wedges. My only concern is about the stronger lofts...45* pw vs my current 48* pw. I might need to add a wedge to gap betweem pw and gw (52*). Decisions decisions

yes, I think that might be wise, maybe a 49* or 50*. PW was much longer than I was used to so ended up with a lot of 3/4 swings and check downs.

I know it's not the 2015 but I picked up a brand new 2011 onoff forged to go with my 3 iron. It kicked my beloved vc-01 4 iron out of the bag that is how much I love these onoffs; in the longer irons anyway.
