Working on a backup set of Engage wedges. Going with 50/55/60 so I got a 56 bent to 55 and added a little volt to it.

Needs more volt!

Ha! My current set all have volt swooshes. These will likely get the same treatment.

Wasn't planning on going all Nike but I am so close thinking of just finishing it off. I have a VFP, VF 3W, 2H, 3H, and just ordered Vapor Fly Pro irons today.

This has lead to a dilema at the top of my bag. The VFP 4i is 21 deg and the 3H is 20 deg. The plan with my ping irons was going woodless and just using the 2h and 3h. Now I don't know what to do.

Since the 3H is almost 2 inches longer than the 4 iron and has a lower center of gravity my guess is you'll carry it 15 yards longer than the 4i. Don't know what your carry distances are but the 2H may fill the gap nicely between the 3 fairway and the 3H.

Thanks. That is good to know. Carry with my Ping 4i is 200-205 and 210-215 with the 3h. The ping 4i is 23 deg. I haven't hit the 3W well and that is why I was thinking of leaving it out. Got a new shaft coming so maybe that will help me control it a bit better.

Same issue. So I tried to get a 2h today but missed out

Are the adapters the same on the vapor fly 3w to the 5 and 7? In other words can I use the same shaft for all three woods?

No idea on that part. I'm the kind of guy who hits the ball and prays it goes straight.

Honestly me too. I'd add straight at my target not straight right. I don't think it'd make much difference to me. But thought id ask some equipment gurus here. Thanks.

I thought so. Thanks!

Edit: just thought of something though. Since the lengths are different, Would it throw off swing weight and other factors if I used the same shaft from the 3w for the 5 and 7? I guess I'd use the 3w shaft with the 5w. And then use the 3h shaft interchange with my 7? Thoughts???

The shafts are tip cut differently for 3, 5 and 7 fairways. Without seeing the drawings/specs I'd say the 3 is tipped 1", 5 is 1.5" and the 7 is tipped 2". Also, the finished length is different for each club. To have a D3 swing weight the 7 head should be heavier than the 3 when the shaft is cut to the appropriate length for each club. So, using the 3FW shaft in the 5 or 7 would most likely feel tip soft and measure pretty high on a swing weight scale. You could choke down on the grip an inch or two but the shaft may still feel a bit loose due to the heavier heads.

I believe the Vapor Fly hybrids are glued hosels and 0.370 bore.

Drop the 3h and play the VFP irons. Then get an origin putter and some engages

Not at home but I think you're right about the hybrids. I'll just chose down since I have blue boards on the d/f/h and only bought the 5w/7w really for the heads And didn't think of the length and swing weights. They didn't have the right shafts. Oh well. I'll try it out and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestion!

I had some Nike's, came with three sets of lenses. Either the anti-glare coating came off or the lenses delaminated on the three sets. I won't purchase them again.

Get a pair of Oakley's; Prism golf lenses seem to be the hot ticket right now. If you want to save some coin look at the Tifosi's.
