Hey Josh, thank you so much for your feedback and I've got great news. I bought the Nike Vapor Speed 3 wood but there was a crazy spin on it. I went down to my local golf store and told the employee about how I loved the Speeds but it not having an adjustment hosel was a real bummer and he brought me to a section of nike clubs that were from the Asian specs and there were Nike Vapor Speeds with adjustment hosels!

 

Would love to hear what you guys think about these!

 

 

 

 

Interesting never seen a speed with an adjustable hosel. I have a set of tour speed heads and a set of JDM speed heads all are a smaller speed head with glued hosel. Really don't like the look of the old adapter on the fairways

The speed with adjustable hosel was the JDM/Asian market fairway for the 2015 releases. You could still find them all over Tokyo when I was there in July. They also released the JDM only Vapor speed limited fairway's which were basically flex heads with glued hosels. They were identified with 2dots in the 3wood and 3dots in the 5 wood soles plus the normal hosel. There are amazing to look at from address with deepish faces and are totally different look/feel from the speeds. The 2/3 dots are primarily the woods most of pros played from this line of clubs.

Maybe it's a flawed system? I have seen other "odd" results over the years where a blade is rated higher than a sgi.

I have a few extra driver Flex-Loft (RH) shaft tips available; PM if interested. These are pulls and the original (Covert) design but will work on the Vapor drivers as well. They are several grams heavier than the Flex-Loft 2.0 (Vapor) tips.

 

This may have been covered before but can someone explain the tips for me? I have a Vapor Fly Pro and purchased a shaft that came with a different Nike adapter that didn't fit.

You have a picture of the adapter on your shaft that doesn't fit? That would make it easier.

Yeah, i dont know. The moi is high for the VPC's, higher than my mp-54's even. But then over all score for VPC is worse than VP. I don't get it

And I swung my VPC 7 and 4 iron against a VP 7 and 4 yesterday afternoon. I like the look of the pros, a lot. I could hit the 7 iron easily felt better, more solid. Even sounded better. But then for 4 iron, wasn't even close. VPC's all day there.

There's a difference in feel and sound from that rzn cavity. It's not bad per say, but when hit in the box - it's there. And I really like the less offset in the pro's. They look so sharp at address.

Below are the Nike shaft tips starting with the VRS driver. I do not have a Str8-Fit tip........that is going back to the VR drivers. The bottom shaft tip is for the Vapor Fly fairways. The Vapor Flex-Loft and Covert tips are interchangeable for fit; the Cover tip is several grams heavier. You can see the areas where material was removed from the Vapor tips to reduce weight.

Same boat myself. I love my vapor pro's but I don't always have the confidence to put a good swing on the long irons. I practice with my VP long irons but almost always play with VPC 4/5/6
