2015 Ogio Silencer is here (Pics now)

played a few rounds with this bag already. Great bag with tons of storage options. my only gripe is the putter well. I don't have an oversized grip (SC pistolero) but it seems to not sit all the way down unless I push it down. I may need to re-arrange my clubs because my wedges are right on top of my putter head cover. I have to rotate my wedges to pull the putter out. overall still a great bag and it makes it all better at the price I purchased it at.

Ditto on the putter well, especially with a tank headcover. I changed my set up to leave my open slot right by the putter, has made it a bit easier, and a small complaint for such a great bag, especially at the price.

Great bag, my only issue is when a club get's into the wrong slot somehow and you have to re-arrange your entire bag, which really only happens when you take out more than one club at a time. Slows things down a little bit, but the carry version is nice and light, and the shoulder straps are very comfortable and help with the back pain while walking!

Guess it's a good thing I passed on the Ogio sale as this was a little cheaper. I need another bag like I need a hole in my head but been wanting to try this one out. Great deal.

I had my first round with the Silencer this weekend and I have to say I am a big fan. The bag is nice and wide compared to the Bennington WFO bag I moved from, and all the clubs have plenty of space to get them in and out. The silencer feature is great and really worked to perfection in keeping my clubs quiet on my Clicgear 8 cart. In all, I would highly recommend the cart version of this bag, especially if you can still get it on sale. I believe Rock Bottom Golf is still running their 20% off sale today and I was able to get the bag there at a steal of a price.

Received mine today from RBG and I like it a lot. Silencer mechanism seems to work very well, hopefully it holds up over time. Both of the Ogio bags I've had have fallen apart after about a year and a half, but for the price on this one I wouldn't be too upset about that. Lots of pockets and storage while still being light. My only complaint is the same as some other cart bags I've had/have - why is the shoulder strap on the opposite side of the handle???

While I don't have the cart version, I'm about 7-8 rounds in with the stand version and it's everything I was hoping it would be. The straps are a god send with their elastic stretch feature. The slots were a bit tricky to get right at first, but once you get the routine down it's not a problem.

My only issue is the the two clubs closest to my back have a tendency to slide out of the top lock. I think it's because they press into my back/rear end when I'm walking. Still no chatter though.

Would definitely recommend this model of bag to anybody who wants to golf in blissful silence.

I took mine out for two rounds. I have used carry bags all of my life but now see that with weekly league play in a cart and pushing a Clic Gear in my other rounds, a carry bag is no longer the best for me. Also, this cart bag is extremely light. My main concern was the added heft it would have over my stand bag but it is minimal at best but now I have extra storage and clubs that don't get tangled with each other.

this cart bag is very light, correct. even with my clubs and some of the pockets full, it's a really light bag IMO.

it does have an insulated cooler pocket. enough for probably 2 drinks I think? I haven't stored my beers in there yet.

So I had a tee fall down into my bag this weekend. I opened up the zipper at the bottom to try and dig it out and felt a long strip of plastic that was loose. It was still attached at one end, but was just flapping around in the bottom. I had been having some weird attempts at getting the clubs to lock so this seems to explain why. Just wanted to let everyone know if they start to have weird issues as well. I've contacted Ogio about the warranty. I would think it'd be covered, but we'll see...

Looking like warranty will cover it. I should note that I bought it in the end of May and I play or practice 4-6 times a week so I for sure put some wear on it. Here are a couple pics where you can see the string stitching is coming out and the piece of plastic that holds in the clubs is loose.

So they are going to exchange the bag. It's interesting how they do it. I have to cut out the Ogio logo on one of the pockets and then cut out the ID tag from the bag and then just mail that to them.

Once the get that, they'll send me the new bag. I get the new bag and send back the old one.

I've got spare bags so I'm ok with being without it. It's a good way to protect themselves and still make it pretty timely for the turnaround...

I have the Ogio X4 Synergy push cart, and the cart has a couple straps that are meant to secure the top of the bag to prevent it from tipping over. Does anyone know if the straps will work with this bag? I use an Ogio stand bag that's a couple years old now and I have to use a rubber strap around the top of the bag since the system on the cart doesn't appear to work with it.

best bet is to take your push cart to your local golf shop and try it out. I believe you're talking about the "Torq" strap used on OGIO stand bags. I really like that feature and always used it but I don't see this bag falling off that easy.

I went golfing with a lot of guys on my buddies bachelor party and another guy in the group thought it was funny to "undo" the cart strap and see the bags fall to the ground as we drove off. mine was the only one in the group that stayed on thanks to the Torq strap. my clubs probably cost more than everyone else's combined. I probably would have been arrested had my bag fell with his joke. I still gave him my $.02 about how stupid the joke was.

Yeah, I don't think there is any difference. I'll be getting one once they are in as my replacement (they didn't have my color so I got to choose), but I think it's just new colors. I'll post once I find out...

Can't wait to try mine...just ordered it from Amazon since i've been really annoyed recently by the clanging of my clubs...especially my custom wedges...from what all of you have said though it looks like this should solve my problem.

it should. mine don't move at all. it's a great bag. Just wish there was another handle on both sides of the top.

Got the bag...clubs dont move but I didn't realize that there was space for four metal woods...I only keep three (including my hybrid) in my bag...it's all about the irons...love the fact that it easily stands upright on a flat surface.

The biggest thing this club really is missing is a compartment to put tees. My Taylormade bag had two equal pockets on each side so I used one for loose balls and a glove and the other from band aids and tees but unfortunately this Ogio bag lacks it.

Did you get the cart or stand bag? The cart one has plenty of pockets so I assume the stand one?
